Congratulations to our EMS Prodigy, Abbey Fischer, on her First Place CSUN Community-Based Research and Service Learning Symposium project! We are so proud of Abbey and we are honored to have her as an EMS Instructor at and as an EMT with !

Abbey and her fellow Health Sciences 335 students worked on a Community Garden Project at Nursing Home Facilities. The goal of the project was to enhance the quality of life for residents while encouraging students to connect with each other and their CSUN community.

Mr. Beattie has been a California Certified EMT since 2008. Prior to that he was certified as an EMR.
