As previously announced the ISSV is using a phased approach to reopen and is now open for the five daily prayers. Tomorrow we will reopen for the first Jumah prayer since closure of the masjid in March. There will be 2 Jum'ah prayers tomorrow to maintain social distancing and adhere with state/county capacity limits currently (36 men, 11 women) in the masjid.

The 2 Jum'ah times for tomorrow are:
1st Khutbah starts: 1:10 pm
2nd Khutbah starts: 1:45 pm

Please depart the masjid after the prayer without socializing.

And do not despair! For He said:

“I am as my servant thinks I am. I am with him when he mentions Me. If he mentions Me to himself, I mention him to Myself and if he mentions Me in an assembly, I mention him in an assembly greater than it. If he draws near to Me a hand’s length, I draw near to him an arm’s length. And if he comes to Me walking I go to him at speed.” [Sahih Al-Bukhari]

“So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?” Qur'an Surah Ar-Rahman 55:13

We tend to take too many things of great significance for granted! Allah's mercy is present at every single step we take; we only need the eyes to see.

His bounties are innumerable…in the tiny pebble or raindrop and in the vast mountain or ocean! Alhamdoulillah (Praise be to God).

Let's start this week by freeing our hearts from the burden of anger, bitterness and resentment. Forgiveness takes away these ruinous emotions. Let's forgive, it's Sunnah!
