Forever Found volunteer/translator and Director of Youth Services were given the opportunity to come and share to the Simi Cornerstone Spanish Service about Forever Found Local Programs + Mentoring Program. 🌟

We are so thankful to Pastor Jose and this engaging congregation for their interest in learning about exploitation, for their support and their prayers. Forever Found was able to share about growing our need for Bilingual Mentors for Forever Found Youth.

There are many things we can learn from the kids in our India home. Each child has 2-3 pieces of clothing to their name and can fit every item they own into a small trunk. Can you imagine all your possessions fitting into a small suitcase? It may be hard to comprehend. It may even be an uncomfortable thought.

However, the kids' sheer gratitude for what they have would be enough to convince you that there truly isn’t anything else in the world they could want for.

Today is Independence Day in India!
We are celebrating with the kids in India, honoring their culture and our beautiful connection!

Please continue to pray for India:
🧡 for wise and compassionate leaders who fight for justice, their citizens' health, human rights, and the protection of their children;
🤍 for peace and restoration amidst the diversity of religions and cultures, that God's love may be known within their nation in a new way;
💚 and please pray for Forever Found as we continue to fight against child trafficking and for the restoration of children who have faced exploitation.

School is just around the corner and we had a Back to School event for the youth + their mentors to attend! 🍎✏️ From "shopping" for school supplies/new shoes, making candy bags, painting nails, and watching the Olympics, we had a great time! 🎒🤩

Back to school! 📚

The kids in our India home are ready with their new school books and stationery! 📒✏️
Every time we ask them how they feel about school, they express (without hesitation) how much they love and value getting to go to school - an opportunity they did not have before, and would not have without your support.

Thank you for supporting Forever Found and the lives of these beautiful children. We are all so grateful for you ❤️🕊️

Today is World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, a global awareness day that aims to raise awareness to this injustice.

Here are TWO things you can do TODAY:
1. Spread awareness by sharing this post and talking to your friends, family, coworkers, etc. about the realities of human trafficking.

Today we are appreciating parents!

In India, many of our kids will likely be unable able to live with their biological parents again. However, our Home Director, his wife, and the staff at the home have stepped in to become the nurturing, godly role models the kids need, turning their stories into ones of hope ❤️
They love the kids as their own and instill them with values and skills that will serve them throughout life 🕊️

Swipe to see a recap from our "Mindful Movement" Drop-In Center! Forever Found Volunteer and Recreational Therapist led the youth and their Forever Found Mentors through a series of guided stretches, followed by breathing and grounding exercises.👣

The youth were able to leave with new "tools" for anxiety and stress management. Each youth was provided a new exercise mat and a cute water bottle. After the session, they enjoyed bagels, fruit, and games together. 🤩

It's National Ice Cream Day! 🍨

Fun fact: In 1984, President Ronald Regan established the third Sunday of July to honor this popular treat.

The kids all the way in India also enjoy a treat (something they haven't always had the privilege of), and ice cream is always a hit!

The hardships of life are inevitable and can sometimes feel too hard to bear. You do not have to do it alone. You are not alone. God may not promise to always remove the challenges in front of us, but He does promise to always be with us and walk with us through them. When the rest of the world feels unsafe, hold onto this reassurance and comfort. We are never alone 🤍🕊

Hi! My name is Pia* and I'm 17 years old. I love to laugh, and my favorite color is pink. I have called Forever Found India my home since I was 12. I am so thankful to be supported by people who believe in me.

The village I came from didn’t have a doctor, so I used to hope I could somehow become one. However, I didn’t attend school before I was rescued, so when I came to Forever Found and was able to go to school, I realized I enjoy working with numbers! 💡
Now, I am in college studying maths, physics, and chemistry! 📚🔢

Praise Report: Last month we were able to match 5 youth served by Forever Found with Mentors! 🤩

Mentors provide social and emotional support to the youth. Our goal is for the youth to grow their "support team", remembering they are never alone and they have people praying for them and rooting for them always. 🕊
