We are excited to announce that our troops will formally participate in the Scouting America coed troop pilot program!
Last night the measure was brought before the youth and adults in a formal vote during the annual planning meeting to participate in this pilot. The vote carried by an overwhelming majority. The pilot will run from September 1, 2024 to July 31, 2025.
The Kiwanis Club of Simi Valley is the charter organization for Scouting America Cub Scout Pack 3663 - Simi Valley CA, BSA Troop 633 (coed, grades 6-12, now combined with Troop 1633), and Venture Crew 9633 (coed ages 14-20).
Our scouting units have been leading the way in Simi Valley in providing opportunities for every youth with a safe, fun place to learn, explore, and grow. We were one of the first Cub Scout Packs to offer the Lion program to kindergartners, one of the first Cub Scout Packs packs to admit girls, we founded the first all girl troop in Simi Valley, and offer a high adventure program to both boys and girls ages 14-20.

Cub Scout Pack 3663 invites you to a free event from 5-7 pm on June 7 at Vista Del Arroyo Park. Experience thrilling STEM activities like water bottle rockets, volcanoes, and elephant toothpaste! Enjoy pizza and popsicles while you're there.
