“So far, you have survived 100% of your hardest days, and the world needs you to survive the next.”
Some of our team members and supporters participated in the NAMI Walk this morning in Sioux Falls, supporting mental health awareness. A speaker at the event, who lost their 3-year-old daughter, shared the profound quote above. Our efforts continue to bring awareness to mental health and provide resources to those struggling.
We are better together! Thank you all for your support. Our mission continues!

Su***de Prevention Month is a crucial time dedicated to raising awareness about the prevalence of su***de, its impact on individuals and communities, and the importance of providing support and resources for those struggling with suicidal thoughts or behaviors.
Throughout this month, various organizations, mental health professionals, and communities come together to promote education, destigmatize mental health issues, and offer resources for prevention.
The goal is to foster open conversations, provide accessible mental health services, and ultimately save lives! Together, we work towards a world where every individual feels valued, supported, and equipped with the tools to navigate through challenging times. If you or someone you know is struggling, please seek help from a trusted source or a mental health professional. Remember, you are not alone, and there is help available.
---Here are some great resources to share as we continue to grow awareness and education throughout this month!
- National Su***de Prevention Lifeline (USA): Call 1-800-273-TALK (1-800-273-8255) for confidential support, 24/7
- Mental Health America (USA): Provides a range of resources for mental health support and information.
-Headspace (Global): Offers mental health resources for young people.

Almost one year after our inception, LLMC has finally held its first community event and it was a huge success!! Check out our two page article below.
This event, and the many more to come, are all fully funded by donations from the families, businesses, and supporters of Long Live MC— and we cannot thank everyone enough.
One of our biggest goals as a nonprofit is to use your donations to genuinely make an impact on the surrounding communities. Manny has provided a platform for us to spread awareness and create positive change, and we’re grateful for the support in making those changes come to fruition.
Thank you for letting us share Manny’s story.
On June 30th, LLMC was proud to be a part of Eide Bailly’s honorary scholarship given to a Roosevelt High School graduate in honor of Manny. Congratulations to this year’s winner, Ty Naaktgeboren! Ty provided a brief write up of what Manny and the scholarship means to him, which can be found at https://www.longlivemc.org/copy-of-donation-tier-status. Thank you to Eide Bailly and Ty for carrying on Manny’s legacy 👑
