β οΈ Please note: There are some very large slabs that you may need to cut down/mill to smaller sizes. Additionally, the wood has been drying for two years, but it is still βgreenβ as itβs been stored out in the elements. Therefore, itβs best to find a place to store the wood in a warm, dry place before creating your masterpiece(s).
The Old Maple Project is sponsored by Augustana Sustainability. Proceeds will support future campus sustainability initiatives and/or scholarships.
If you cannot make the sale, please contact Karie Frank at 605.274.5400 or [email protected] to arrange a time to view the wood.

Always a Viking
Though most students only spend four years here at Augustana, we know the impact can last a lifetime.
Just as our alma mater has evolved from Augustana Seminary to Augustana College and Normal School to Augustana College to Augustana University, the alumni association has evolved, too.
Over the years, weβve changed from the Lutheran Normal School Alumni Association to the Greater Augustana Association to the Augustana Alumni Association.
Today, the Augustana Alumni Association is made up of nearly 30,000 alumni who live in all 50 states and 38 different countries. More than 4,000 Augustana graduates have chosen to stay in Sioux Falls with another 3,500 making their home in South Dakota. Our second largest population of alumni is in the greater Twin Cities area with more than 3,000 graduates.
