So much coming from Great Shots! Stay tuned for these amazing upgrades! ⛳️

Beginning Aug. 25, Great Shots will undergo a major upgrade to our driving range turf. The project is expected to take approximately 8-10 weeks, and we anticipate completion by early November.

Throughout that time, our tee lines and golf bays will be closed. Not to worry, though, we’ll still have plenty of ways you can spend time with us at Great Shots.

•The simulator room is our newest indoor golf space. Available by reservation, players can continue to work on their golf skills in a private, climate-controlled area. The simulator room is equipped with Trackman technology, enhancing your overall experience! Tee times in the simulator room can be booked online at https://www.greatshots.golf/golf-simulator-room/

•Our private event, meeting and holiday party spaces will remain open for reservations, and we would love to host yours! For more information, please contact our events team at CONTACT INFO or https://www.greatshots.golf/parties-events/

•Sanford Sports Golf Academy programming will continue as usual.

•Food and beverage service in the main bar area will remain open. Please see our website and social media for adjusted hours. Blue Rock Bar & Grill will operate normally as well, so join us for some great food and beverage options there, too!

For our Titanium members, your membership will be extended an additional three months. We also look forward to welcoming you back to the bays prior to our public grand reopening.

Any gift vouchers or VIP packages scheduled to expire during the bay closure can be extended through Dec. 31, 2024. Contact our marketing manager, Megan, at [email protected] for an updated certificate.

“I would say it’s been much more than just a sport,” Droge said. “It really brought me a community of people, but it’s been fun to see the program go from what it was to where it’s at now," said Hannah Droge as she reflects on her time competing with the Sanford Triathlon team.

For more than a decade, Hannah Droge had carved out a big chunk of her life around the Sanford Triathlon team.

The impact the youth program has had on the 22-year-old Droge is still hard to measure. She had been a triathlete in the program before eventually becoming an assistant coach under head coach Kathy Grady.

This summer, a young triathlete on Grady’s team was in need of a more well-equipped bicycle, and Droge had one that was a perfect fit just sitting in her parents’ basement.

As a way of giving back to the sport that had given her so much, Droge decided to donate the bike to Grady’s program.
