We will have 4 age divisions this season: 6-8, 9-10, 11-13, & 14-17. Practices will be during the week but will be at the discretion of the individual coach. All practices will be at Fritchie Gym. Games schedule TBD. All games will be at SYVBA.

Last week we The Coleman Brothers, Andrew and Jesse, came to speak to our athletes about entrepreurship and real estate development. Throughout week 4, the kids played NBA monopoly, learned about different forms of real estate and were prepared with entrepreurship questions and scenarios. We'd like to thank them for sharing their knowledge and time with us!

F.A.S.T. Basketball appreciates James Burkes' visit and discussion with our athletes about engineering during Engineering Week at F.A.S.T. summer training camp, making it a huge hit!

Every week at camp we learn about a different profession. This weeks spot light is the great Glen Harris!

Special thanks to Glen Harris for taking time to speak to the kids at FAST Basketball training camp. The kids learned about his profession as an insurance agent and basic financial literacy. We enjoyed his message about effort and how it relates to their success in all aspects of life.

We had an awesome Evaluation Day for our Summer Basketball League! Our coaches are still reaching out, and yes, every child is placed on a team. 🏀 It’s going to be a great season and we are looking forward to a fun summer full of basketball.☀️

SYVBA Summer Basketball Families,

We have extended registration for an additional week, so here is the updated schedule. We are surely glad to have you!

Evaluations will be SATURDAY, JUNE 8TH
at SYVBA Gym:

1PM-2:15PM: 4/6 year olds

2:30PM-3:45PM: 7/9 year olds

4PM-5:30PM: 10/12 year olds

5:15PM-6:30PM: 13/17 year olds

Drafts will take place on the day of evaluations. Once your child's evaluations are done, they are free to leave. The draft will take place with coaches only. Coaches will then reach out by Sunday, June 9th to let you know what team your child is on. Practices will begin Monday, June 10th.

Games will be during the week, and will begin Monday, June 17th. The game schedule will be given to you by the coaches. Play-offs/Championship will now begin the week of July 22nd.

🔹Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8AM-4PM

Dear SYVBA Volleyball Families,

As many of you may know, Old Spanish Trail & Rama Drive took a direct hit from the EF-2 tornado on Wednesday. Our home gym was spared major damage, however, there is still a quite a bit of debris in the roads as well as downed power lines in the area. We appreciate your patience as we navigate moving forward with the remainder of our season. Our kids deserve a sense of normalcy in this stressful time, so rest assured, we promise, we WILL finish our season!

We are committed to serving our community and rebuilding our beautiful city. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the first responders and linemen working so tirelessly to get our city back up and running. You are very much appreciated!

We wanted to share an update regarding the waitlist for volleyball. The waitlist is closed. We will be reaching out today & tomorrow to add the kids we can. We will begin with 6-10, then 11-12, and finally 13-17.

🔹If you have multiple kids in different age divisions, there is a chance we may not have the room for all of them in the separate divisions.

🔹You will have 24 hours to complete payment once you are called, or we will have to move to the next person on our list.

🔹As with regular sign-ups, we cannot honor requests to go to a specific coach. We are going in order to keep everything fair.

We run a 12 week registration process leading up to a season. (We implemented that last year, and it is our standard) That means Fall Volleyball sign-ups open in May. Spring sign-ups open in December.

We are so thankful so many of you believe in our program and our leagues! We appreciate all of our families! 🏐🔹🏐🔹🏐

Wow! Record numbers for our Spring Volleyball season AGAIN! 🏐 We will be emailing information on the evaluations to all of our registered participants shortly. Picture Day will be the day of the Jamboree (March 30) 📸

On that note, registration is officially closed. We will not be doing any walk-in registrations. We will open up a waitlist, however, placement is not guaranteed.

We truly appreciate all of our families for trusting our leagues with their children. We enjoy providing quality youth recreational experiences to the kids in our community! 🌟
