August is quickly coming to a close, and the busy back to school time is kicking off! Take some ME time by joining Barb tonight at 6pm for a Slow Flow!

Our August yoga schedule!

It is with great sadness this evening I announce the fitness portion of the studio will be ending end of August. Yoga will remain unchanged!!! And adding classes this fall!

For those of you who do not know, in May I was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer. I am undergoing surgery this Tuesday, the 30th and will be continuing treatment after. Right now, as devastated as I am, I just cannot maintain 5:30am classes. I have always told all of you that you have to do what's best for you and I need to apply that advice to myself. Yoga will remain and I am very excited to be able to take some yoga classes in the future! Please feel free to reach out with any questions, I did reach out to all my fitness people but if you have any questions I am here!

I am teaching tomorrow, the 29th, 6pm Slow Flow!

Join Kristin tomorrow morning, Saturday, for a 10am Heated Yoga Flow! If you have never experienced the joy that is one of Kristin's classes, now is your chance! She encourages you to challenge your mind and your body, while providing you with support and alignment. And you will hold a plank, or two, or 17.

She will also be covering Monday August 5th Slow Flow!

Slow it down tonight at 6pm with Barb. There's still time to register for her Slow Flow and start your week off feeling refreshed, stretched, relaxed and ready to take on this week!

A small announcement for the summer, Maria will be taking a break this summer. Terry is taking over (with also a couple other subs!). Join her Monday for her first Monday evening Slow Flow!

There is no Thursday evening yoga this week!

Happy Father's Day to all dads out there! You are so appreciated for all you do!

So many shake ups this week!

Randi is on an actual vacation (with her dog) so no 5:30am classes Monday or Tuesday. Wednesday 5:30am class is now Total Body for this week only! Two days of a break is enough!

Barb is taking over Tuesday evening yoga (just this week)
Jen is taking over Thursday evening yoga (just this week)
Patrice is taking over some rest for her back, so no Wednesday evening class this week.

And Smyrna At Night is this Saturday!!! It's an amazing event that turns downtown Smyrna into an outdoor vendor space, and concert! We will be closed Saturday with no classes (all of downtown is closed to traffic) but make sure you head down and check it out!

As the school year comes to an end, and summer vacations start, remember we are always here. If you need space to breathe, think, slow down, stretch, sweat, cry, laugh, sing, dance or just BE, our space is always here for you. Do not forget yourself, do not forget to take care of YOU.

I am so excited to introduce the newest member of our Mindful Heart family!

Barb Hannah is excited to join the Mindful Heart community. After two decades of taking yoga classes, and now that her kids are grown, Barb decided to deepen her practice and graduated YTT200HR in May 2024. Barb is grateful for the opportunity to guide students through showing themselves loving kindness on their mats. We are so excited to grow with her!

Come show your support this Wednesday at 6pm as she leads you through a warm Yoga Flow.

We have evening Spin class this week, and every other Wednesday! Adrienne will be alternating spin and total body, still every Wednesday at 5pm. Join her this week!

There will be no spin class this Saturday as I will once be racing in not one, but three races this weekend.

But Kim is back to fill in for Saturday yoga!!! Her classes are amazing, be sure to sign up and experience a deliscious Heated Yoga Flow!
