Tuolumne County WIC will be at the Sonora Farmers Market beginning this Saturday, July 6th from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM . Vouchers available to eligible families on a first-come, first serve basis while supplies last. Come and get your fresh fruits and vegetables. ๐๐๐๐ฅฆ๐ฅฌ๐ฅ๐ ๐ถ๐ง

Reach your 2024 healthy eating goals with WIC's help. WIC families can buy fresh, canned, and frozen fruits and vegetables with their Fruit and Vegetables Benefit. Add organic options or dried fruits to your shopping cart, too.
The monthly dollar amounts are:
-$26 for children ages 1-5
-$47 for pregnant and postpartum individuals
-$52 for breastfeeding individuals
-$78 for individuals breastfeeding more than one infant

Attention WIC Families: Our agency received 50 more Farmer's Market Nutrition Program voucher booklets to be distributed in Tuolumne County. We will be picking up where we left off and start this Saturday, August 5th at the Sonora Farmers Market between 7:30 and 10:30 am.
Booklets are worth $30 each and are given out on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible participants. To find out if you qualify please call our office at (209) 533-7431.

Participants will receive:
-Compensation ($25/Hour)
-Individual membership with National WIC Association
-Complementary virtual NWA conference registration

Safe sleep for infants is an important measure to reduce the risk of SIDS. Breastfeeding has also shown to reduce the risk of SIDS but many parents have questions about nursing in bed.
