The Spartanburg County Master Skills Center serves all nine High Schools that are located in Spartan
Yesterday was an awesome day for the Students of the Master Skills Center! Along with R. D. Anderson, MSC celebrated Signing Day and Awards Day for our students.

A huge thank you to one of our business partners, Morgan Corp. for allowing Brett Swann’s Level 2 Heavy Equipment Operators to come and tour the facility! They also learned about the different sizes of equipment used to move dirt efficiently and safely on various types of job sites.
Another huge thank you to Gettys D. Broome High School for inviting the Master Skills Center to their 8th Grade Parent Night. It’s always a great event when we can share about our programs! We met many students and parents who had great questions about the classes we offer. Hope to see many of these students on campus in the future!

Today, the Master Skills Center and the Heavy Equipment Operator’s class partnered with TreesUpstate to plant trees on the MSC campus! Together, we planted a mixture of Magnolia trees and Carolina Sapphire evergreen trees, and then spread mulch to cover the entire berm.
A huge thank you to Kylie Stackis, Pat and his crew, Mr. Brett Swann, his Heavy Equipment students and Jeremy Johnson with D6 Maintenance for making this happen! This was an awesome project from start to finish for our Heavy Equipment students!
