Our friends at C & C Thunder Custom Cycles are holding their Back to School Drive now until August 7th!

If you'd like to donate school supplies for our students, you can drop them off at C&C Thunder Custom Cycles (4868 South Main Street).

The Spartanburg County Health Department will hold an Immunization Blitz Clinic ahead of the 2024-25 school year.

The department will have additional nurses on site August 5th, 2024, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm to provide Immunization services.

Parents/guardians are encouraged to schedule ahead of time using the DPH Careline at 1-855-472-3432 as walk-in space will be limited.

There are still open appointments before August for those who want to get a jump on their back-to-school vaccines!

As a reminder, children receiving immunizations at the Spartanburg County Health Department must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to receive services.

Beginning next week, students can purchase parking permits for the 2024-25 school year!

Below are the dates to purchase parking permits. They are $25.

Monday, July 22nd - Seniors only
Tuesday, July 23rd - Seniors only
Wednesday, July 24th - Juniors and Seniors
Thursday, July 25th - Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors

Stop by Broome High School from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Class of 2025 - be sure to schedule your Senior Portraits. Portraits will be taken July 23rd and 24th at Broome (in the D3 Auditorium).

Senior Portraits are used for the Yearbook and Graduation ceremony - you don't want to be left out! An appointment is required - use the link below to sign up. A $10 sitting fee will be collected by the portrait studio, Images.

Can't make it to these dates? Students can make an appointment to be photographed at the Images studio. Photographers will be at Broome in September for additional photo dates.

Broome High School Events, May 12-18, 2024

Honors Day practice is May 17 @ 12pm (cap and gown not required but grad walks will follow, so please bring your cap and gown for the grad walks at elementary and middle schools).

Jazz Band and Concert Band Spring Concert, 2024

Graduation Practice is May 21st at 8:30am in the BHS cafeteria (Students will ride a bus to Wofford – no students will be allowed to drive to practice).

Students are allowed 10 tickets each. If you need more, email Dr. Greene ([email protected]). All the tickets will be given out at graduation practice.

Chorus Awards and Senior Recognition Showcase, 2024

Matthew Wood, mathematics teacher and coach is the BHS Teacher of the Month. Way to go, Coach Wood!

Broome Faculty and Staff enjoyed a special visit from the Mobile Salt Cave as part of Teacher Appreciation Week!

Congratulations to the Biliteracy Seal recipients, Honor Cord recipients, and inductees into the National German Honor Society and the National Spanish Honor Society.

Spartanburg County DHEC will be offering priority scheduling for students (4 to 18 years old) needing vaccines to remain in school. These appointments will be available every Monday.

Space is limited: Walk-ins will be seen on a first come, first served basis. To schedule a time, call 864-594-0502. If the scheduler is busy, please leave a voicemail and DHEC will return your call.

All other appointments can be made via the DHEC Careline at 855-472-3432.
