Helping Captives was founded in 2015 as a ministry partnering with churches and organizations to perform outreach to the community. Today Helping Captives ministers to survivors of trafficking through intervention, stabilization, and recovery services.

Trauma Informed Care seeks to realize the impact of trauma and understand the path to recovery utilizing safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness, and empowerment. 🌸

We integrate this perspective into our policies and procedures, staff training, and our day-to-day interactions with survivors.

Deja Vu Showgirls sign removed Thursday in Spokane Valley as part of transition to human-trafficking refuge Christian organization Helping Captives says the sign's removal is part of the group's mission to help those affected by human trafficking.

Every year Caleb gets to teach a class with Stephy Nobles-Beans at Whitworth in her Leadership in the Kingdom class! This year Stephy is retiring and we are sad to see her go. If you have never met her you are missing out! She is one the greatest people in our community.
