Looking for a way to keep your Star Power shining over the summer? Join us for Camp GOTR! During this week-long day camp for rising 3rd-5th grade girls, participants will enjoy building, friendships through interactive games, being physically active, and expressing creativity through arts & crafts and storytelling. Led by caring and qualified Girls on the Run coaches, Camp GOTR combines the best of the Girls on the Run program with all the fun of camp.

Camp GOTR is hiring coaches for our summer camp sessions in Spokane! If you love working with kids and want to make a difference, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

🗓 Camp Dates: July 8th - August 2nd (work one week, a combination of weeks, or all four weeks!)
🏕 Locations: Different spots around Spokane each week
🕒 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Hey everyone! It's time to lace up your running shoes and celebrate Global Running Day with Feet Spokane while supporting Girls on the Run of Spokane County!

Global Running Day is all about celebrating the joy of running – the camaraderie and friendship, the endorphins and accomplishment, and the chance to challenge your personal limits. Whether it's your first 5K or your fiftieth, we would love for you to join us!

When we teach our youth the value of community service, every population benefits. Children with giving hearts are more likely to think empathetically and treat others with respect. That is why at GOTR, our girls create and host a Community Impact Project of their choosing. By learning the value of helping others, they grow and unlock a light inside of themselves 🩷

Recently, our team at Frances Scott Elementary School brainstormed phrases and made posters to motivate everyone at school and beautify the gym. Great work! 🫶

🌟 Volunteer: Help us create a magical day as a 5K volunteer. Positions available between 6:30 am - 11:30 am.

🌟 5K Buddy: You complete the 5K alongside a GOTR program participant at their pace, encouraging them and helping to celebrate their accomplishment. A 5K Buddy can be a friend or family member (16+) of a GOTR participant or a community member volunteering to be paired with a GOTR participant.

🌟 Community Runner/Walker: You are completing the 5K at your own pace. You may or may not be connected to anyone in our program. All ages and abilities as well as strollers are welcome to join our 5K!

Recently, GOTR girls learned about negative self talk and how to change it into positive. We love hearing how they can talk kindly about themselves and let their star power shine ⭐️✨
