Happy Halloween everyone! As we move on from breast cancer awareness month, let us realize how scary the truth can be. A lot of these thought to be “healthy“ brands may not be all that healthy. Seriously…trick or treat?

Happy Fall! October is breast health awareness month. Are you estrogen dominant? How would you know if you have not had thermal imaging in grayscale? Blood tests don’t reveal what is being produced locally in the breast tissue. Your estrogen levels could be 50 times the amount that is showing in your blood work. Ladies if you are not being informed about how dense your breast tissue is, ask your medical provider. If you are doing mammograms, and it isn’t mentioned on your report, ask! Nearly half the population has dense breast tissue, yet most women we do breast exams on have no idea. Dense breast tissue can hide tumors on mammography because it’s white on white. There are many tests to support breast health. Here are the top 5 that I believe every woman should get. These are the same 5 tests I use to monitor my own breast health.

1. Thermography - No single tool is 100% accurate, but I believe that thermography is one of the best non-invasive tests for early detection.
