Helping to open more than car doors
Imagine a day when every older person has a ride to wherever they want to go whenever they want to go. Imagine a day when no senior feels isolated or alone or is able to stay in their home longer due to the ability to get to medical appointments, shopping, social events or a to have a meal.
ITN Gateway, serving St. Charles County and a designated area of St. Louis County, is part of a national non-profit organization (Independent Transportation Network) dedicated to helping those 60+, those visually impaired and adults with disabilities (in St. Charles County) with transportation needs. We use volunteers who drive their own automobiles and some paid drivers to transport people to anywhere within the service area for any reason. We are available 24/7, offering riders the maximum in choice and freedom.
We offer dignified service, as passengers ride in the front seat, and provide door-through-door, arm-through-arm service. “It is almost like having your own car again,” says Betty, a rider since 2014.
