Meet Ace.
See Ace likes to eat bedding. Yep. That's what puppies do.
Ace needs exploratory surgery (which is not cheap).
Ace's momma loves him to pieces but doesn't have the full amount to cover the surgery. Her only other option is humane euthanasia or surrendering her dog.
Surrender her dog to the rescue world that is already drowning with animals.
This is where YOU come in. We would love to help save Ace.
No one should die due to financial reasons.

You wonder why Detroit is a disaster.

Puppies 1 day old in dog house, tore open face on momma dog because male went near her newborn puppies.

Puppies are alive as of now, but probably not for long. Animal control came and left. “Not enough to remove on a warrant“ Slap on the wrist with tickets that he’ll probably never go to court for.

The owner will not surrender.

This is what we allow to happen.... This is what will continue to happen.

It’s a sad fu***ng day. This is the sad reality of Detroit, they actually allow this s**t to happen.

Do better Detroit.

Last seen heading south from Cadiuex and Chandler Park.
These babes are beyond loved and spoiled and their dad is distraught

Glow up of our little princess who was left in a crate. Thank you Cary Jackson for picking us. Thank you Shakyrra Irish for keeping her safe and making sure she got ALL the love and medications she was prescribed, and THANK YOU Canine Companions Rescue Center for always coming through for our dogs.

AND THE SAGA CONTINUES.
Yesterday we recieved a plea for help for a dog that had been left in a crate since Thursday. Yes. Folks. Thursday - 08.08.24 - without any food or water.
The situation being an eviction (owner left the dog in a crate) and the landlord had reached out to different agencies.
One being a government funded agency and the other being a multimillion dollar organization that gets their donations from sweet little ole ladies.
Landlord waited 3 hours - no one came.
We understand that these agencies are busy.
WE GET IT. WE ARE ALL BUSY. But this is their job.
WE have full time jobs and we still make s**t happen. How is this????
Because we CARE.
We have COMPASSION.
How were we able to get the dog?
A little communication goes along way. PERIOD.
When we arrived we could not believe our eyes. A 4 month old little princess locked in a blood spattered crate. The smell was horrific. Usually we remove dogs from their situation ASAP - not this time. To the bath tub she went. The water was red - we looked for wounds. Nothing. Parvo (which was a concern from jump because of the smell).
Scan for microchip… Oh well lookie lookie here.
SHE IS MICROCHIPPED!!!
DRUM ROLL PLEASE. 🥁🥁🥁🥁
She is microchipped to one of the earlier mentioned agencies. SURPRISE. SURPRISE. ☝🏻
Off to emergency we went being it was 9:30 and we all have our own animals that we need to keep safe. Parvo test negative. Super dehydrated. White blood cell count off the chart. Temp of 105.6 so she was immediately placed on a cooling mat. The little princess was admitted for the night for observation because of the amount of blood found in the crate.
Welp. Today she was released and is safe with a temporary foster for the night. Thank you Shakyrra Irish.
Her GLOW up is why we continue to do what we do.

He absolutely loved all his stuff! He was thrilled about his chair, new tv (Markie gave and hooked up for him), and his fridge!!!!❤️All the goodies in boxes!

We have a few more things to bring over and get, so as the house gets finished we will continue to help.

Welp. Our day started out with s**t.
Meet Ethel. ❤️
Ethel was roaming around the hood this morning when a nice man saw her and was able to get her in his backyard as he reached out for rescue help.
Ethel has severe wounds on her head and face, is extremely emaciated (weighing only 34.2 lbs).
The state of the dogs in Detroit is killing us all.
EVERY. SINGLE. RESCUE is struggling right now.
We are asking for donations for our awesome friends at Bark Nation who have opened their doors to Ethel and so many more. Taking in 3 emergency cases just this week - which means never ending medical bills.

Teddy Update

Sweet Teddy is still fighting for his life with Parvo 💔Yesterday he finally ate some chicken! They think he’s finally turning the corner !! 🙏🏻

Meanwhile his invoice has raised a lot and still has at least 48 hours in the hospital .

Katie is a mother of children and has 3 fur babies herself . We raised 1200$ (we sent 500$) towards her bill and her max on care credit is 2500$ . We would really like to help her raise a little more money to offset . Invoice in pictures

It was a pup cup kinda weekend ❤️

New fenced-in yard for Polo and Dino because they keep busting through the wood. So we put up fence panels all around the yard so they can run free😍

Thanks to RAINA Reaching ALL In Need of Assistance for the pup cups !!!! Our doggies loved them
