was another incredible showing of the generosity and pride St. Louisans have for the amazing nonprofit organizations doing phenomenal work right here in our community. Nearly $4.1 million was raised on the city-wide day of giving! Congratulations, St. Louis!
And 101 donors showed their love for the iconic Hi-Pointe Theatre, raising more than $8,566 in donations, which earned us a boost prize of $250 thanks to the St. Louis Community Foundation and the sponsors they acquired for this day of giving.

At 4:00 PM at the Hi-Pointe Theatre, experience the the struggles of a transgender man in Turkey's traditional society with "Blue ID." As he struggles with self-realization and the constraints of Turkey's gender color-coded identifications, will he finally be able to get a Blue ID?
Later at 6:30 PM, travel back to the 20th century with "Baldiga, Unlocked Heart." Following a young Jürgen Baldiga as he moves to Berlin to follow his dreams of artistry, this documentary showcases Baldiga's despair, longing, and rebellion as he becomesa chronicler of the q***r West Berlin subculture.

Starting at 1:00 PM is our special Documentary Shorts program: "Love & Hope & Dreams." Exploring the stories of q***r activism and survival across the globe, this program will host award winning artist and St. Louis filmmaker Jess T. Dugan, as she shares her own intimate story of the first five years of her daughters’ life.
Later, join a Brooklyn teenager in her struggles of juggling conflicting identities and risking friendship, heartbreak, and family in a desperate search for sexual expression with a special presentation of "Pariah," moderated by Merlin Bell of the Poplar Institute for Film!

Thanks to Emmett, we attended the Q***r STL Film Festival at Hi-Pointe Theatre and watched Priscilla Queen of the Desert, a fantastic film. We met Meredith Barry, the sponsor of the film and owner of Platypus, where we continued the celebration at the after-party. We were also honored to meet Lisa Marie, the talented artist who created the The Love Mural! Love attending these LGBTQ+ events to introduce our App!!!

Tonight, Hi-Pointe Theatre will be hosting "Meredith Barry Night!" Starting at 7:00 PM will be a special presentation of "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert!" which tells the tale of two drag queens and a transgender woman contracted to perform a drag show in an Alice Springs resort.
There will also be a post-film celebration at Meredith Barry's Platypus Bar, beginning at 9:30! 🥂🍷
