What do you want to be when you grow up?

We all have dreams for the future, especially during the Christmas season. The UrbanFUTURE Career Building Center is dedicated to preparing tomorrow’s workforce through literacy, communications, public speaking, and real-world work experience in our Call Center.

We are currently interviewing dedicated and hardworking 6th-12th grade students for training positions. Those students who are selected will not only develop essential skills and earn valuable experience, they will receive rewards, letters of recommendation, and the the opportunity to advance into our summer apprenticeship program.

We are proud to announce our new UrbanFUTURE Career Building Center™, which provides training in business reading, writing, and public speaking as well as real-world communication skills development in our Call Center.

We work with student-parent teams to showcase multiple career options that are available for UF students.

Your tax-deductible contribution will allow us to provide student scholarships, which include unique skill-building tools such as Achieve3000, Gallup StrengthsFinder, and Toastmasters, all made available through our state-of-the-art Hewlett-Packard Call Center and 15-seat computer literacy and career research lab.

Our final post from our in June! Our students from Fanning Middle School visited the Saint Louis Zoo and learned from veterinarians and other zoo employees about their careers!

Legendary high school basketball coach Bobby McCormack, former CBC High School - St. Louis, MO and current Saint Louis Priory School head coach, came to speak with our students about careers in the sports industry! He even showed us some of his basketball tricks. Thank you, Coach Bobby!
