Happy Halloween from Micah small groups! It’s about to be retreat time! We are so excited to have a fun and fulfilling weekend.
Many of you will remember that last semester Micah participated in a drive for the National Marrow Donor Program (formerly Be the Match) in honor of Simon, the son of Alumni Ellen Craft Nabeti, as he fought his second battle with cancer.
This weekend Simon peacefully passed away surrounded by family at the age of 13. Due to his condition, he needed a bone marrow transplant and often needed platelets and blood. There is often a lack of supply in hospitals, and also difficult to find bone marrow matches- all of which affected Simon.
During break we encourage All students, friends and family members to consider giving blood/platelets and signing up for marrow matching as there is a need for more marrow donors.

Keep the Craft Nabeti family in your hearts as they go through this difficult time.
It’s midterms week already? See what the small groups were up during community night this past week!
Happy Friday! Midnight soccer has been a Micah tradition for years! We wanted to show you how much we love it in order to start the weekend strong!
Last Saturday, Micahs participated in an Economic simulation to discuss poverty and how it affects America. It is so important to think critically of these types of things.
