Audiences are blown away by the performances and storytelling of Music City Hit-Makers at every performance. They will always want to peek behind the curtain and hear more about their favorite music and how it was made.
“The three songwriters combined have amassed 50 No. 1 hits and the evening of music felt like a hang with good friends as one minute the men poked fun at each other and the next raved about the song their pal just played. Often, the songwriters took the audience into the writing room as they frequently described how their hits developed in the intimate outdoor setting.” https://www.soundslikenashville.com/reviews/brett-james-chris-destefano-rivers-rutherford-dazzle-at-songwriters-under-the-stars/
Brett James, Chris DeStefano, Rivers Rutherford Dazzle at Songwriters Under the Stars The imminent threat of a thunderstorm didn't deter music fans from attending the third Music City Hit-Makers' Songwriters Under the Stars.
Music City Hit-Makers is a group of award-winning song writers behind country’s biggest hits. They get up on stage and tell the stories behind the songs they have written for Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisely, The Dixie Chicks, Blake Shelton, and many more....
“I'm not sure what it feels like in the audience, but being onstage with the symphony behind you makes it more emotional," says Lindsey. "I know it might sound cheesey, but it feels like you've been given a set of wings and you're taking off."
Chattanooga Symphony & Opera goes country with Music City Hit-Makers Did you know that "Jesus Take the Wheel" was originally pitched to Hillary Scott before she joined Charles Kelly and Dave Haywood to form Lady Antebellum?
“Once we get audiences in our space, they will help us expand our audiences by marketing the event to their friends through selfies, personal accounts, or just by sharing a “We had a great time tonight ” on twitter. I bet you are wondering how we inspire audiences to do this.......”
“Posting on social media is not like walking up to a patron and handing them a flier that they look at and make a decision about. It doesn’t work like that at all. It is more like a bulletin board that you post on and hope your patrons happen to walk by. “
“The best part of being down in the basement by myself? My Dad’s weight bench!”
“Being able to think outside the box and reinvent your brand is crucial to a company’s survival, especially now. “
“The truth of the matter is, our normal is going to have to change. At least for now. Trying to get the math to work with even more variables, but fewer seats to sell just doesn’t seem feasible to me. At least not on the surface....”
We could not be more thrilled with the work that was put into this production. Premieres tonight on YouTube and Nine Network. ❤️🎶

Like most of you, we have spent the last couple weeks readjusting to the “new normal” that has become necessary to combat COVID-19 and keep our loved ones safe. Now that the dust has settled for the moment, it is time to get back to work and find new and innovative ways to take advantage of the situation and continue bringing the arts to the audiences that we love. Stay tuned for more info...exciting things to come!
We can probably all agree that ticket resellers are a pain for concert presenters. It is more confusing than ever for concert goers to find the "real" box office to get tickets direct from authorized sellers and instead are being directed to third party resellers and pay 200%+ over the face value. When they get the venue and realize their mistake, we are the ones who hear about it.
So how do we stop it?
Our opinion might be a bit unpopular, but hear us out. If fans are willing to pay the greatly inflated third party prices for tickets to our shows, then perhaps we are under-pricing our tickets to begin with. If we priced them the same as those third party sellers (or at least closer) the third party market would dry up because in order to turn the same profit margin, the prices would now be too high for the market to bear.
Take a look at this article that tells us a bit more about this theory.
Why Are Concert Tickets So Darn Expensive? http://bit.ly/2T4wL1S
Why Are Concert Tickets So Darn Expensive? Believe it or not, even at $100+ bucks, you’re actually getting a bargain
Over the past few years, the landscape of marketing events has changed. In fact, even over just the last 5 years we have had to switch up our strategies to keep those show tickets moving.
What have we learned?
🎟️The audience for every show is different. The days of taking a few different formulas and slapping them onto the next show are over. Niche Marketing is no longer a luxury, it is a must.
🎟️Audiences like familiar but unique experiences. Sounds contradictory right? Well…..not exactly. Finding artists/titles that audiences know but that offer a slight twist on the expected has been a consistent winner for our clients at the box office.
🎟️Give them an inside look. Patrons want to feel like they matter, like they belong. If you can give them an inside look into your organization and the shows you present, the more interested they will be in the shows you have coming up.
🎟️It’s not just about the show. In the modern “editorial” age, patrons are more likely than ever to keep an eye out for you on their social accounts if you are routinely posting about interesting aspects of the industry that are entertaining in themselves. If you can keep them engaged with your marketing editorials, they will be more likely to keep looking for the next thing.
NOW BOOKING FOR 2020-21!
Hailed by Rolling Stone magazine as a “vibrant soul singer” who “bridges a racial and generational divide,” Brian Owens continues to live up to that praise with this new show featuring the music of artists that inspired his career such as Sam Cooke, Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye, Michael McDonald, and as featured on his latest album Soul of Cash Johnny Cash, and many more. Brian takes great care to create a concert experience that reimagines these songs in a soulful way that is true to who he is as an artist but still pays homage to the original artists.
I'm still not entirely sure how I feel about the "hologram concert" trend, but it is certainly hard to resist a chance to give fans a chance to revisit a beloved artist that was taken from us too soon.
