This extension of postpartum benefits for women with MO HealthNet coverage was passed in 2023 by the Missouri Legislature and signed into law by Kids Win Missouri Governor Mike Parson

The Governor signed Senator Arthur's bill earlier this summer, but they celebrated this yesterday. Among several components, the bill extends postpartum coverage in Medicaid from 60 days to 12 months and improves access to health care for people with disabilities.
