Hello 2022-2023!
We are so excited to start the new school year. Please know that LECE classrooms, including our Butterfly Room, will be using the SeeSaw app this year to connect with families and share classroom happenings rather than our class page, so please be sure to download that app and register. (More info on registering coming soon)
If you are wanting to receive information through Facebook, please be sure to like the LECE page: Lindbergh Early Childhood Education. On that page, you will learn about school-wide events!
It's going to be a FANTASTIC year!!!
Last day of work exploration and making rain clouds! So much fun together!
We took a closer look at worms and the butterflies have been loving it! We also did a rain cloud experiment with shaving cream and colored water.
We had so much fun with show and share this week and learning about zoo animals!
Go Cardinals!!
Artsy Thursday! We sorted, practiced with scissors, colored, and glued!
We had a fun work together Wednesday with the frog room!
We had such a fun Tasty Tuesday! We read “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” and tasted a variety of foods from the book! The butterflies were such great listeners and really enjoyed the activity. After we had open door day and could go through the bathroom and play in the frog room or the butterfly room!
Music Monday! We made egg shakers, added jingle bells to our paint brushes, and made dancing ribbons!
We learned about community helpers this week!
Construction vehicles in the sensory table, painting with the colors of fire after learning about fire safety, matching pictures of items with the correct community helper, and puzzle practice!
Not pictured:
*we learned about going to the dentist and brushing our teeth and then painted with toothbrushes
*we learned about doctors and nurses and then made band-aid art
We hope you're enjoying finding small ways to make a big difference with your ECE student this month!
