We cannot wait to hear the speaker tonight, our very own CEO Dr. Jared Bryson! Make sure to stop by and hear him speak on Catholic Social Teaching: Let's Apply It!
Please pray for the repose of the soul of Sister Suzanne Wesley. Sister Suzanne was the dedicated CEO of CRSS from 2002 to 2017; before that, she served as both a staff nurse and the director of health maintenance for CRSS. She was an integral part of the success of our ministry.
Our sincere condolences and prayers are with her loved ones and our coworkers who were privileged to work with Sr. Suzanne. She was an outspoken advocate for the health and well-being of older adults throughout her life, and her passion has made a difference in the lives of older adults in our community.
Today marks the two-year anniversary of our President and CEO, Dr. Jared Bryson, at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Eight Organizations. One Cause. A Stronger Community.
In response to the teachings of Jesus Christ, our mission is to serve people in need, especially those who are poor and vulnerable; work to improve social conditions for all people in the community; and to call members of the Church and community to do the same.
Catholic Charities of St. Louis has been helping people in need since 1912. Organized as a federation of eight agencies, in 2018 Catholic Charities services impacted more than 103,000 people. Catholic Charities serves 11 counties in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
The Catholic Charities Central Office provides advocacy, centralized administration, accreditation, human resources, communications, quality assurance and fund development for the federated agencies.
Catholic Charities serves a wide range of people: children who are dependent, abused and neglected; adults who are homeless or at risk of homelessness; women who are abused; parents and children requiring family counseling; people struggling as the result of substance abuse disorders; older adults with special needs; and many more.
