Art In The Park
Art in the Park is a vibrant St. Louis arts festival that brings together more than 80 artists. Inspired in 2002 by a unique piece of artwork, St.
Louis Hills neighbors Terri Bearden and Ann Layton, in cooperation with the St. Louis Hills Neighborhood Association, commissioned a sculpture for Francis Park. The sculpture, created by artist Robin Murez, depicted a mermaid, a perfect fit for her home at the center of the lily pond in the heart of the park.
