Hey everyone! My name is Elena Sierra, and I am a sophomore studying electrical engineering. I am the chair of the Faculty Relations Committee at SWE, and today I am taking over SWE’s Instagram.

I am studying engineering because I am passionate about solving problems and about understanding how our world works so I can make it a better place, especially with technology.

Outside of SWE, I am a Section Leader in the Computer Science department and I like spending time with friends and going on adventures around the bay (like hikes by SF!).
