Did you Rock Your Socks like we did today, in celebration of World Down Syndrome Day? We have many patients with Down Syndrome, as well as many others with special needs. We love them all!

We spent yesterday morning with our Pre-S, Pre-K and K friends at Saint John the Evangelist school this morning. Ms. Hollie and Drake the Dragon talked about healthy smiles and going to the dentist. We read books and did some fun crafts. Thanks for letting us visit.

Please Welcome Dr. Jason to our CDHC Family!

We’re pleased to announce that Dr. Jason Schoener DDS is joining our pediatric dental team at Children’s Dental Health Center. He received his DDS from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed his residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Texas-San Antonio.

Dr. Jason is joining our practice after serving in the US Air Force for 16 years and achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was most recently stationed in England as the Chief of Pediatric Dentistry at RAF Lakenheath and moved to the Boston area with his wife, who is also a dentist. Prior to specializing in Pediatric Dentistry, he worked as a General Dentist for several years. He has numerous publications to his credit, belongs to multiple national and international dental organizations, and is an editorial board member and peer reviewer for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Needless to say, he has a vast amount of experience and education.

Dr. Jason enjoys learning languages (he speaks Serbian and Croatian), traveling, spending time with family, and running. He’s competed in the Boston Marathon several times (was the 2nd American Finisher in 2008) and looks forward to running it again. We’re very pleased to have him as part of the CDHC family. Please welcome him!

Our CDHC Elf Pablo is keeping an eye out and reporting on all of you who don't brush and floss daily. You don't want to get on Santa's naughty list! I mean, you also don't want to get cavities or gum disease either (which has also been linked to heart disease), so keep those choppers clean and healthy!
