Thank You to everyone who voted for our amazing landmark.
Designed by the Rotary Club of Surprise and local artist Joe Tyler this 13 foot steel obelisk was donated to the City of Surprise on September 21, 2019 and installed in Statler Plaza Park at the City Hall complex.
It stands as a visual reminder not only for our community but for the world to promote peace and understanding among all of humankind. Our hope is that our peace pole will be an inspiration to everyone who see it every day, and it instills action from each individual to create a peaceful community, nation and world.

I'm out there everyday talk, talk, talking about Rotary and the good things we do in the world.
To me public image is one of the most, if not the most important aspect of Rotary. Why you ask? Well if we don't promote who we are and what we do, how do we expect people to want to join our clubs, help with our projects or donate to our causes.
Let's make public image a priority! 😃
