5 years ago walked in the gym as a raw but hungry 8th grader wanting to make a difference on the football field. He set goals and broke them over and over and today was his last workout with us before he reports to this coming week. Sam is not special he is just consistent... He defied the odds by doing what others were not willing to do. He has an incredible work ethic and we couldn't be prouder to see the growth in his life both on and off the field. We are excited to host an all ages girls soccer skills and performance camp with women's starting center back for Georgia! Cate led the Bulldawgs this past season with the most minutes played by a freshman and was top 10 in the nation for all of D1 women's soccer. She has also been a training client with us at Hammer Smith Sports since her freshmen year in high school and we are thrilled to have her share from her playing experience and expertise.

Campers will have 4 fun filled days of passing, shooting, defense, soccer IQ, speed, strength, and conditioning. They will learn what it takes to become mentally and physically prepared to play at the highest level. We will teach proper warmup, running mechanics, change of direction, acceleration, age appropriate strength training, and much more. Each performance session will be led by certified strength and conditioning specialists to ensure proper form, mechanics, and techniques are used.

Campers should bring a soccer ball, water bottle, cleats, tennis shoes, shin guards, and positive attitude!

I have some exciting news to share with you!

As you may have noticed in the facility (Hammer Smith Sports) and possibly heard the rumors, we're moving. I know you may be asking why, and here is the deal.

We have been in our Norcross facility for 10 years. We love the space and what it has allowed us to accomplish as a business but our lease is up July 31st. We spoke with our landlord back in January to begin the renewal process but were not able to come to an agreement on terms. In short our lease was going to more than double in cost and we felt that it would not be fair to you to pass that expense on in the form of drastically increased training rates.

So with that said we will be moving to our new location in Suwanee. We have found a great location that will allow us the opportunity to train both indoors and out with a great outdoor space where we can expand our training offerings and classes.

We are working on all the specifics of our move and will keep you updated as we solidify our plans.

In the mean time we are transitioning and our move is your gain. The joy of moving allows me to redesign and reconfigure a new space to fit our clients and their goals.

This weekend and until we move we will be liquidating and in some cases fire selling off extra equipment and home gyms or even private sector weight training equipment.
