Last of our team! Alissa Bachand is the studio owner and director. Alissa has been teaching for over 20 years and opened TMB 15 years ago! She is also a seasoned adjudicator and master teacher for a variety of competitions. Additionally, Alissa has recently taken a position as an adjunct professor of dance at SUNY Geneseo! All of that keeps her very busy-- but if she isn't in the studio you will most likely find her in the ADK. She is an accomplished hiker- having finished the Saranac 6, Lake Placid 9, Fire Towers and is working on becoming a 46er!

Alissa, along with the entire TMB team, are always striving to deliver excellent dance training in a professional, organized and supportive studio culture. Anything you need?Don't hesitate to reach out! She has office hours every Thursday evening from 5-7 PM.

Casey McManus is our front desk coordinator! She helps manage lots of day to day studio business as well as help our dancers with shoes, tights, questions, and band-aids! 😁 She is the go-to person for questions and acts as the liaison between our parents, teaching staff and studio director. You'll find Casey at the desk Mon-Thurs from 4:15-6:45.

Kayla Jones returns to TMB with a full class load! Kayla teaches a bit of everything but her favorite genre is tap! She has completed the iTap online program and her commitment to musicality is evident in ALL her pieces. Kayla will be teaching a FGF class coming up all about music theory! Kayla is also finishing her master's degree at Syracuse!

Ellen Smith is a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor and teaches all our tumbling classes along with a wide variety of other classes. She's a well rounded teacher and brings great positive energy to all her students. She adores POM/Dance Team work and we are hopeful to explore that more in the near future! Ellen is also getting married in less than a month!

NEXT WEEK! Join Alissa for a "September Stretch and Slowdown". The first of our FGF series, this class is designed for all levels! Sarah Burns is another TMB student turned faculty member! Sarah has a passion for both tap and hip hop work and has attended "Tap Into the Network". She's also completed additional online tap training with various tap masters! Sarah is teaching a variety of classes this year as well as creating pieces for our competition team.

Jessie Bo****no has been a part of TMB for a long time, having made the transition from once a student, to faculty! Jessie has a love for Hip Hop Bop, jazz work, and coffee! :) In full circle moments, Jessie's daughter started her journey at TMB last year in Creative Movement! We love Jessie's kind energy and her commitment to helping all our students grow!

Returning to TMB for another season, Nicole Harf! Nicole is a gracious, humble and beautiful part of our TMB teaching staff. She has a love for ballet, but teaches many different styles and classes at TMB. Nicole's love for dance and our students is evident in every single class she teaches. Nicole is also a nurse and currently getting her master's degree!!

Meet our staff Day #2! Emilee Pratt is also BRAND NEW to the TMB faculty. Emilee has a BFA from SUNY Purchase and brings a wealth of knowledge to TMB. She's an accomplished choreographer and adjudicator and we know our students are going to benefit from her articulate and insightful teaching style! Welcome Emilee!

Now that our 2024 season is underway let's introduce you to our AMAZING faculty and staff! BRAND NEW to our teaching faculty please welcome Mads Anderson! Mads' specialty is in Hip Hop and we can't wait to have her share her knowledge with our dancers! She will also be "popping" (see what I did there) into classes as a substitute this entire season.

Congratulations to Evelyn Ames and Josie Pennisi!! Evelyn was our Open House Swag Bag winner, and Josie was our Free Costume Winner! 🎉
