Introducing our next Choreography Co-Chair, we have Stevie Michaels!

Stevie is a rising junior and this will be her third year in DanceWorks.

Stevie kept dancing in college because “it was a space that allowed [her] to forget about all of [her] stresses and be free.”

We cannot wait to see all that you accomplish this year and are so excited to have you on board! ✨🩵

Introducing our Choreography Co-Chairs, we are starting off with Molly Lindstrom!

Molly is a rising senior and this will be her fourth year in DanceWorks.

Molly’s advice for those looking to join is to remember that “DanceWorks is such a safe space with so many opportunities to take advantage of.”

Lily Gavin is a rising junior who has been dancing since she was 3. She has been a part of DanceWorks for 2 years!

“Dance was my entire life growing up. I spent every weekend at competitions or conventions and practically lived at the studio. Coming into college, I knew dance was not going to be as big a part of my life, but I couldn’t give it up. I was so excited when I found out about DanceWorks. I watched videos from the show online and fell in love. I knew I needed to audition and I’m so glad I did! If you’re thinking about auditioning at all, go for it! I am so grateful I joined this org, it has been so rewarding!” 🩵✨🪩

Kaitlyn Sullivan is a rising senior who has been dancing for 18 years. She co-choreographed a hip hop piece, “Post Malone,” featured in our most recent show, DanceWorks Disco. Kaitlyn has been a member of DanceWorks for 3 years.

“Growing up, my life always revolved around dance and after graduating high school I wasn’t quite ready to end my dance journey. With encouragement from my mom, as always, I decided to audition for DanceWorks and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Not only do I get to continue my passion for dance, but I have met such amazing people along the way. There is nothing but support, encouragement, and love inside this organization and I’m so proud to be apart of it. Thank you DanceWorks for giving me some of my best friends. I can’t wait to spend my last year dancing with these special people and laughing so much the entire way, of course.” 🔆🩵🌟💃🏻

We are so sad to see our fantastic graduates go, but we can’t wait to see what they accomplish in their futures! We are so proud of each and every one of you! Thank you for all that you’ve done for DanceWorks. Congratulations to the graduating class of 2024!!! 🩵🎓💐🌟

Annabelle Rose is a rising sophomore who has been dancing since she was 2 years old. She has been competing since the third grade and has been in DanceWorks for 1 year.

“I joined DanceWorks to have the opportunity to keep dancing and improving after high school. I also wanted to be able to meet other dancers and have that community in college. My advice to prospective members is to try to connect with the other dancers in your classes! They can become some of your best friends or incredible mentors.” 🩵💃🏻💫🤗

We are starting our choreographer highlights for DanceWorks Disco 2024 with our amazing 2023-24 DW Board Choreographer co-chairs, Molly (she/her) and Stevie (she/her)!!!💙

“We are so excited to be choreographing the 2024 Board pieces for this year’s theme, Danceworks Disco! For the opening, Board will be performing a fun tribute to some disco favorites by the legendary ABBA. Our closing piece this year is to Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now”, but with a twist…

We are so grateful to work with such an amazing group of Board members, and cannot wait for March 1&2!!”

“Why DanceWorks Wednesday” Liana has been dancing for the last 16 years! She is a junior majoring in Architecture.

“ I decided to audition for Danceworks because I thought it would be a great way to make friends and somewhere i could continue pursuing my love of dance. I have met the most amazing people through this organization, some who have become my closest friends. Being on the board these past two years has taught me so much and given me a dance family I thought I would never have after graduating high school. DanceWorks has become my outlet and one of the things I look forward to most! I cannot wait to see how amazing this year’s show turns out and am so proud of all the work each and every member of this org has put in. 🪩🕺🩵”

We will see you THIS FRIDAY at 2PM for the Choreographer Showcase, where you will determine which dances you would like to audition for, followed by AUDITIONS THIS SUNDAY from 9AM-6PM. Group warmup will begin at 8:30AM bright and early!
