We are excited to announce that the CON Minority Student Nurses Association (MSNA) will be hosting a Narcan Training Event with FSU CHAW and FSU Nursing.
The training session will take place on Wednesday, April 3rd at 3:30pm in College of Nursing Room 204.
The training consists of easy-to-understand instructions for recognizing and responding to a suspected overdose, distribution of two doses of Narcan nasal spray, and a chance to talk to a medical provider at the University Health Services with any questions.

Participate in our research study to help us understand how you utilize resources and programming provided by CHAW, identify challenges and opportunities, and explore environmental factors affecting disordered eating behaviors. Reflecting on this year of violence prevention with kNOwMore! From Teal Tuesday and Take Back the Night to You+Me+We, Green Dot, and Purple Thursday, we've spent a lot of time working to end power-based personal violence together! Here's a snapshot at 2023 and what we've done to support survivors, create a trauma-informed campus, and challenge the social norms.

Join CHAW, SGA, and The Food for Thought Pantry on Nov 1st at the HWC Courtyard for free food, recipes, and other resources to support your wellbeing.

At least 30% of college students report experiencing food insecurity at some point while in school. If you or someone you know is struggling to get enough food, know that there are resources available to help.
The Food for Thought Pantry is open for all currently enrolled FSU students Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Wednesdays from 1pm β 5pm. It is located on the 4th floor of University Center A, Suite 4148. Students can visit up to once per day. Food options include fresh produce, dairy and dairy alternatives, meats, baked goods, and dried and canned foods. Just bring your FSUCard to verify student status and a bring a bag, if you can.

This Week in CHAW, we have some AWESOME opportunities to connect with you all.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 12th, we have our first kNOw More Student Advisory Board General Body Meeting where you can learn about about kNOw More, and how you can be a student voice to campus on ending sexual violence and supporting survivors. The meeting will be 6:00 pm to 7:00 on in the Health and Wellness Center (HWC) classroom 2500. HWC 2500 is located outside the main building, near the vending machines in the courtyard area.
On Thursday, September 14th, we have our first Green Dot Bystander Intervention training of the semester. In Green Dot Training, we will share how you can be an active bystander to reduce harm on our campus and create a culture that doesn't tolerate violence. Register by Wednesday, September 13th to secure your spot. Registration Link can be found in our linktree. Training will be from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.
On Friday, September 15th, our collegiate recovery community, LIFT, will be hosting an open house in their new LIFT Lounge, located on the 4th floor of the Thagard building. Drop by the open house between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm to meet our student staff and learn more about LIFT.
