The YLD Board spent some time this past weekend at the Board Retreat, where we worked hard to plan out the best year for you all! It wasn't all work, though - we also celebrated Board Member Paige Tucker's birthday! 🥇🎂🎉

Bar Leadership Institute Now Accepting Applications for 2024-2025 Class

The HCBA's Bar Leadership Institute (BLI) program aims to identify and develop young attorneys of diverse backgrounds who have the potential to grow into future HCBA and community leaders.

The leadership program consists of monthly learning modules and site visits, held mostly in the afternoons. It also involves the completion of a community service project that is chosen, managed and completed by the leadership class.

The deadline to apply is Monday, August 19.

The HCBA YLD has decided to create a new subdivision for YLD attorneys who have aged out of the YLD. Keep your glasses cleaned for a schedule of upcoming events, including a class on how to attach a pdf and a CLE on how to use a dicta phone.
