The Melikian Center is deeply saddened of the loss of our very own Gregory Melikian, a visionary and philanthropist who profoundly impacted the ASU community. Chosen by General Dwight D. Eisenhower, Melikian was given the important to pass on the message that ended World War II. His dedication shaped both the Melikian Center and the Critical Languages Institute, and his commitment to education and cultural understanding left a lasting legacy.
