This meeting is a great opportunity to learn more about the swim program and get all of your questions answered. Whether you're a returning swimmer or new to the sport, we encourage all interested students and their families to attend.

Everyone say cheese! BPI will be at ESMS to take student photos on Monday, September 16th. Students who are absent on the first date will have their photos taken on Wednesday, October 30th.

We would like to say a special THANK YOU to our maintenance and operations staff, school nutrition staff, and school leaders who worked throughout the day to ensure that weather protocols were activated and that all of our schools are prepared for the storm.

To ensure the safety of our coaches and student athletes, there will be no on-site athletics practices on Monday, August 5th. Some coaches may hold virtual meetings, that will be determined by each individual coach.

Due to the weather situation, the decision has been made to close all Tift County Schools on Monday, August 5th. We will continue to monitor the weather, road conditions, and any impact on facilities to make decisions beyond Monday.

After meeting with the Emergency Management Agency and other officials, and to ensure the safety and security of our students and staff, the decision has been made to close all Tift County Schools on Monday, August 5th. We will continue to monitor the weather, road conditions, and any impact on facilities to make decisions beyond Monday.

Tomorrow will be a remote work day for staff. Staff members will receive communication from your building principal or supervisor regarding their expectations.

📢 Weather Update: Monitoring Tropical Storm 📢

We are working with our local Emergency Management Agency and the National Weather Service to monitor the tropical storm and its potential impacts on our area. Ensuring the safety and security of our students and staff is our top priority.

We anticipate making a decision regarding any changes to our school operations following their afternoon briefing. If it is determined that a change to the school calendar is necessary, we will notify everyone as soon as possible.

Middle school parents...We Heard You!! Based on the results of our survey regarding before school care for middle school students, the YMCA is actively planning this program. We will share details as they become available.

In order for all staff members to attend a system-wide meeting, all Tift County schools and offices will open at 12:00pm on Monday, July 29th.

ESMS 6th Grade Orientation! Nearly 200 new students spent the morning playing games, touring the school, and learning about the many academic and extracurricular opportunities offered in middle school. We're thrilled to have you with us and can't wait for a fantastic 2024-2025 school year!

ESMS 6th Grade Student Orientation will be held this Thursday, July 25, from 8:00 AM -12:00 PM. Follow the link below to sign up for the orientation. Students should be dropped off and picked up at the car rider area located on 6th Street, behind ESMS. ESMS staff will be there to assist. We look forward to meeting all of our new students.
