Lloyd is still patiently waiting for his forever home

Lloyd is a young golden boy and is the perfect example of why we need to very carefully think through bringing a new animal into our homes, before taking the leap.

Lloyd bounced from home to home because the people did not understand what a huge commitment a big, young puppy is. Thankfully we were contacted by one of the people and were able to step in to give this guy the life and home he deserves.

Lloyd I such a goofy boy who lives to be outdoors on adventures, and playing with other dogs. He would be best in a home with another playful dog, a yard, and people who love to be active.

He is such a cuddly, happy pup and will truly be the best addition to the right home.

Stella is still looking for her forever home…

It’s been 11 months and as much as this girlie is a team favorite and adored by all of us here at Rover’s, she deserves to finally find her people.

This gorgeous girl is an almost 4 year old lab we rescued with the help of Dr Pitt and coming up on one year ago.

Stella has Addisons disease. Her former owner couldn’t afford her needing to be hospitalized 11 months ago and asked to have her euthanized. Thankfully Dr Pitt wouldn’t do that and called us instead!

Stella is such a happy girl. She loves every dog and person she meets. A typical food obsessed, goofy, cuddly lab girl.

She requires monthly injections and daily prednisone to manage her Addisons, but is otherwise is doing great! It’s high time she find people as amazing as she is

Tomato is available for adoption!!

This cutie patootie is one of our Fruit babies.They are 2.5 months old and growing by the day.

While we have no idea what dad was, mom was a cocker spaniel, and we can estimate the littles to be small- medium sized when full grown.

Tomato is so smart, food motivated and eager to please. He’s the sweetest little cuddle bug and LOVES his doggie foster siblings.

Tomato will thrive in a home ready to bring in all the love and craziness that puppies come along with. He’s going to make one lucky family very happy.

New Arrivals Alert!

Welcome our newest little babies… The Eras litter!

Willow, Paris, Cassandra, Archer (females) and August (male) are precious 7 week old French bulldog mixes. They are such happy, goofy, playful puppies who came to us as a result of an ‘accidental litter’. Just another reminder to spay and neuter your dogs!!

These little nuggets need foster homes starting WEDNESDAY! Because they are so young still we are looking for a foster home able to take two of the puppies and another able to take the other 3… ideally with other dogs who will teach them how to ‘dog’.

Welcome our newest international travelers, Royce and Amy! These cuties arrived to us from our amazing rescuer in Turkey. After a rough life, they’re greatly enjoying all the love, toys and adventures since they arrived.

Woodstock Family Pupdate!

A couple weeks ago, we rescued a sweet mom and babies from Riverside shelter. In preparation for our big summer fundraiser, naturally they needed Woodstock names!

Mama Santana has been the best little caregiver. Unfortunately shelter life is hard, and only two of the babies survived. But those two have been hanging on strong so far.

Joan and Melanie have officially open their eyes and are getting bigger by the second.

We have no idea what their breed is, Mom is an adorable little mix and we can’t wait to watch these little girls grow more and more💖

Woofstock 2024!

We had such a blast yesterday. This year’s big summer fundraiser was yet another amazing day supporting our rescue dogs, and we have tons more photos to come, but for now enjoy our fruit babies posing for the camera

Tons people came out to enjoy great music, food, raffle/ silent auction items, and most importantly… to hang with some special pups!

Huge thanks to Cognitive Wealth Management and Tarzana Community & Cultural Center for once again helping us put on a fantastic summer event.

Kiwi (F), Melon (M), Jackfruit (M), Tomato (M), Lilikoi (F),and are all still patiently waiting for their forever homes. They did so well yesterday and loved all the attention. Mama Clementine is a cocker spaniel but we don’t know what dad(s) were. We estimate they will be somewhere in the 20-30 pound range, but who knows!

Zelda was the only non golden pup a hoarding property in New Mexico that we saved 20+ dogs from recently. She is so affectionate, playful and smart. All she needed was a rescue minded person to see just how amazing she is… and she found just that!

Dante is still looking for his forever home, and now he needs a foster or foster with intent to adopt starting TOMORROW!

Sweet Dante came to us a few weeks ago after being dumped on the streets near Bakersfield. He had a badly broken leg that had healed improperly, and as a result he needed it amputated.

But he doesn’t let that hold him back! He’s as happy, go lucky and active as any other young dog. He LOVES his walks and playtime. He’s coming out of his shell more and more everyday and he’s truly the most special boy.

One lucky family will absolutely score welcoming this guy into their home. Dante needs a foster (or better yet an adoptive home!) starting tomorrow as his current foster is going out of town.

Grover is still looking for his furever home!

This sweet fella is one of the 1 year old bernese/golden pups we rescued off of a hoarding property in New Mexico.

He is slowly but surely coming out of his shell and learning that people and the world isn’t so scary, after living completely ignored outside for his first 9 months of life. Grover loves other dogs and is currently enjoying a vacation in the mountains with his doggie buddies!

Grover will thrive in a very patient home with another dog and a yard, with people committed to continuing to build his confidence. Once he’s bonded to his people he’s the most affectionate, goofy boy.

Somehow Joey is still looking for his furever home

This sweet guy has been with us almost 2 months, and has yet to find the right people.

✨Senior Sunday!✨

This week we’d love to give an update on our precious Gracey girlie.

We saved Gracey from Carson shelter a little over a week ago. She was brought into the shelter by a family member the day after her owner passed away.

She had a big tumor on her ear, extreme matting and double ear infections. As expected, she has been extremely confused and working to get more and more comfortable each day with her foster.

Gracey is truly the sweetest girl ever and still has so much life in her. She LOVES her walks and being outside. She still has a ways to go before she will be ready for adoption, but we are loving watching her come out of her shell more and more each day.

Huge thanks to everyone who has donated and followed her story. She’s a gem and will continue to get the care she needs, and find the very best forever home when she is ready.💖

We had such a great time today in Dana Point! Such amazing foot traffic and the doggies got to meet so many people. HUGE thanks to for putting on a great event, and inviting us to join in.

Sweetest little Papaya found her furever people with a wonderful family, and so many others had interest! Such a blast.

Happy Tongue out Tuesday!

Snuggles is celebrating big time because he is now PARVO FREE! We rescued sweet Snuggles from SEAACA shelter a few weeks ago. He was euth listed due to having Parvo.

He spent some time with our vet when we first got him and he bounced back quickly.. You’d never know this cutie was sick.

Snuggles is ready for his forever home! We don’t know his breed since he is a rescue, but we estimate he will be medium sized full grown. He is about 5 months old and typical puppy. He loves playing in the yard, is super smart, and extra cuddly.

We had an amazing Puppies and Pilates class yesterday with our little Fruit babies.

Our sweet cocker spaniel mix litter is officially 8 weeks old! They are officially ready to start the search for their furever homes.

We rescued mama Clementine, a cocker girl, and her fruit babies at 3 days old from San Bernardino shelter. They have grown into the goofiest, cuddliest, most precious bunch.

Our girlies: Papaya, Kiwi, Lilikoi, Mango
And gentleman: Tomato, Melon, Jackfruit
Can’t wait to find their perfect people.

Zippy is a senior golden boy, although he has the pep and energy of a young boy. He LOVES his walks. He can take a minute to warm up to new people, but once comfortable he will absolutely be your shadow.

He is a people dog although he has coexisted well with dogs his size. Zippy would enjoy a home with someone around a lot to give him all the cuddles and walks he yearns for.
