On Friday, 9/6, we had our first buddy day. Buddy days are going to happen 6-8 times this year and help build our student to student connections. Here are some of our students meeting their new buddies for the year!

🚨 Attention CBE, CPE, WCE, and MSE families! 🚨 Your schools are going head-to-head in a friendly competition to see which building can get the most families signed up for library cards at Powell Memorial Library this September! 📚 For each family that signs up, your school receives a point! The building with the most points will win FREE books for their own school library.

Students in 2nd through 5th grade have had a lot of fun playing their new instruments in Music!

Mrs. DeFrancesco's class is learning their letters and letter sounds through their word work centers!

First two weeks have been all about teamwork and how to be a good classmate in STEM with some fun building challenges.

First Day of School!!!

Happy First Day of School! We are so excited to see all of our new and returning Lions this morning! Just a few reminders for today. 1. PreK arrival starts at 8:15am in the back of the building. No K-5 cars should be in line before 8:30am. 2. Doors open at 8:50am. To ensure the safety of all of our students, parents will not be allowed to walk their children to class. 3. Student drop off takes place in the back of the building. Only walkers, Latchkey and some bus riders enter through the front of the building. 3. School starts at 9:10am. After 9:10am, parents will need to sign their child in at the office. 4. School Dismisses at 4:10pm. We appreciate you patience on these first few days as we work to ensure all students get home safely. We look forward to an amazing first week of school. If you need anything, please reach out to your child's teacher via email, ParentSquare or contact the MSE Office at 636-528-4809.

This week we focused on meeting our incoming Kindergarteners! We stopped by the houses of our new Lions and many of our Kindergarten students attended Kindergarten Camp. Both were a huge success! We loved meeting our incoming kindergarten students and enjoyed spending this week with them!
