Yoga is a 6000 years old refined technique to help you reach your Full Potential ❤️🌺💕

The definition of Yoga, according to Patanjali, we can find it in Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, "Yogas chitta vritti nirodha".
Refers to stilling the mind in order to experience Ultimate Reality and move toward Self-realization.

Our mind have the tendency to identify with external objects, and with thoughts. Yoga is a tool to learn to control the fluctuations of the mind, instead of being controlled by our minds; we become the driver.

The physical postures are just a step towards achieving it, it helps our bodies to move forward, to move to deeper layers of ourselves. But the oldest Yoga scriptures actually, just described a little few yoga postures, so is not necessary do all the ’contorsionism’ that we see nowadays on social media to attain the state of Yoga.

Yoga postures (āsanas), without the deep understanding, will not lead to deeper changes in ourselves.
The same that if a person, for example due to medical reasons or physical impediments, is not able to do many postures, they can still have the whole benefits of Yoga, if doing them with the correct knowledge.
