If you are dealing with sickness then meditate on, believe, and declare the following…

“Jesus bore my sickness and carried my pain. Therefore I give no place to sickness or pain in my body. God sent His Word and healed me. (Ps. 107:20.)
Father, I attend to Your Word. I incline my ears to Your sayings. I will not let them depart from my eyes. I keep them in the midst of my heart, for they are life to me and healing to all my flesh.
(Prov. 4:20-22.)”

The human body is the residence of the Holy Spirit — God’s powerful gift to every believer. Even though our human bodies are fragile and eventually die, it pleased God to deposit this gift inside us. Think about how incredible this is! The human body is so fragile that:

A wrong diet can kill it.
Working too hard can break it.
Too much pressure can damage it.
And even after caring tenderly for it your entire lifetime, it still eventually dies.
Yet God placed His greatest treasure inside us anyway!
-Rick Renner
MY PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord, how can I ever say thank You enough for putting Your Spirit inside me! It is so amazing to think that You would want to live inside someone like me. Yet this was Your choice, and for this I am eternally grateful. Help me live a life that is worthy of Your Presence inside me. Forgive me for times when I’ve treated You wrongly by defiling my mind or my body with things that are not worthy of You. Help me stay constantly aware that I am a carrier of the greatest gift the world has ever known.
I pray this in Jesus’ name!

MY CONFESSION FOR TODAY
I joyfully declare that I carry the Presence of God in my life. I am the temple of the Holy Spirit — a treasury where God has placed His power, His gifts, His grace, His fruit, and His character. Resident within me is enough power and answers to change both my environment and the environment of anyone to whom God uses me to speak the words of life. I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name! Amen.

Sleep is super important and brings healing to the body. Do your best to have a wind down routine at night so that you’re ready to go to sleep at a decent hour (my goal is 10pm).
Feel free to share below some of the things you incorporate into your bedtime routine, we’d love to here some ideas!

Love these bedtime scriptures... 😴😴😴😴😴😴 💤💤💤💤💤💤

“So now I’ll lie down and sleep like a baby – then I wake up in safety, for you Lord will surround me with your glory.” Psalm 3:5

“Be still up on your bed and search your heart before Him.”Psalm 4:4b

“Now, because of you, Lord, I will lie down in peace and sleep comes at once, for no matter what happens, I will live unafraid!”Psalm 4:8

Don’t think for a moment that you know it all, for wisdom comes when you adore the Lord with undivided devotion, and avoid everything that’s wrong.
Then, you will find the healing, refreshment, your body and spirit long for.
Don’t be wise in your own eyes; reverently fear, and worship the Lord, and turn entirely away from evil.
It shall be health to your nerves and sinews, and marrow and moistening to your bones.

Note: Marrow is the nourisher and strengthener of the bones. It’s where red blood cells are produced. Marrow to your bones is moistening refreshment, medicine and strength.

(Dryness of the bones is opposite of good health as it states in Prov17:22 “A happy heart is good medicine and cheerful mind works healing but a broken spirit dries up the bones.”)

Focus, and think about good things. Have an attitude of gratitude. Acknowledge and lean upon God. Depart from evil and avoid things that are wrong.
As you do these things it will produce health in your body and soul.

Sharing with you my wisdom nuggets from Prov 3:7–8. ❤️

Friends, it’s about progress over perfection. Ditch the all or nothing attitude.

Walking for 5 minutes is better than not walking at all.
Being grateful for 1 thing is better than not being grateful.
Consuming 1 vegetable serving is better than none.

Start where you’re at and do a little bit better today. Repeat tomorrow.

Those small steps will add up and you’ll begin to see some results in your life.

Community and having a strong support system is healthy for you and can benefit you in these ways:

Decreases inflammation
Decreases the risk of chronic disease and cancer
Strengthens the immune system
Shields the body from negative impact of stress
Prevents mental disorders like depression and anxiety
Helps manage symptoms of chronic disease

Everyday we can have opportunity to connect with others whether it's in the grocery store line, just smiling at someone you pass by, or making time for sharing a conversation with a loved one. Volunteering at your church or local organization is also a great way to connect while you are giving back to the community.
Be open to meeting new people and seek out connection with those who have similar interests.

Take the initiative and start building your healthy community and support system.

Live today in such a way that it’ll impact your tomorrow in a better way!

If you made small but steady steps towards your health goals on a consistent basis, you have a better chance on achieving your goals than someone who goes at it full speed ahead and then loses steam and fizzles out.
Write down your daily small wins so you can look back at the progress you have made over time.
Focus on one step at a time until it becomes a habit.

What is that one small step you want to implement?

Consuming "healthy" meals doesn't have to mean that you don't get to eat some of your favorite recipes.
Learn to change your recipes to make them healthier by upgrading some of the ingredients to higher quality ones.

If your soup recipe doesn't have many veggies, add in some chopped kale or spinach.
Replace regular meats and dairy with organic/grass fed/wildcaught so that you're not getting the hormones and antibiotics that the animal got in conventional meats.
Instead of regular white processed sugar in recipes, try switching to coconut sugar or maple syrup.
It doesn't have to be an all or nothing mindset. Make the small changes so you're not overwhelmed.
Now, didn't I just make your day better?!! 🙂

Start now and start small. Most people wait till the beginning of the New Year to start a diet or some kind of health goal. Think about how much further ahead you will be if you go ahead and implement one small habit NOW!
Here are a few examples:
>drink a little more water than you are currently drinking
>walk 20 more steps than you are currently walking
>take a 5 min and do nothing break except breathe deep and thank God for 1 blessing that has recently happened
>eat one less bite of that sugary Christmas dessert.

See how easy that is?!! I know you can do this. Don't wait till January, implement a healthy baby step today!!
What will you do or what else can you think of that would be a tiny "NOW" step of improvement??

Studies have shown that regular gratitude is associated with lowered blood pressure, reduced stress hormone levels, a stronger heart, increased kidney function, and an overall sense of increased energy and vitality.

Not bad for a moment of thanks eh?!!

How about making sleep a priority? Without enough good quality sleep the body will produce an increase in ghrelin and decrease leptin which can cause overeating.

Water is crucial for our survival and beneficial for many reasons one of which is how it carries nutrients and waste products through our body.
We need the good nutrients inside our body but we also need the waste and toxins removed and taken out of our body.

Studying the word of God helps us to get spiritual nutrition into our mind and it also helps to remove worldly toxic thinking.

Studies show that having a shopping list will save the average shopper 10%.
This will help avoid impulse purchases.

Next time you go to the grocery store have your list ready, make sure you’ve eaten before you go, and work according to the layout of your grocery store so you’re not wandering around.

Most of the food you will want around the perimeter of the store which will contain the fresh foods like fruits and vegetables.

De-stress with Avocado – Avocados are creamy and versatile and can be eaten in a range of different ways like raw, made into sauces, dressings and dips, or in a smoothie. This nutrient-dense fruit has the properties to stress-proof your body, thanks to the high glutathione content which specifically blocks the intestinal absorption of certain fats which cause oxidative damage. Avocados also contain higher levels of vitamin E, folate, and beta-carotene than any other fruit, which also boosts their stress-busting properties.

10/28/2022

Select organically grown, fresh fruits and vegetables whenever possible to decrease your intake of pesticide and herbicide residues. The cleaner you eat the better your body will respond.

Let people see your pearly whites.

Smiling not only makes you more attractive but it also activates tiny molecules in your brain that are designed to fend off stress.
And, smiling can make someone's else’s day brighter as it sends a signal to people that they are seen and everything is going to be ok.

Do you get good sleep most nights? Having enough sleep, at least 6-8 hours a day, will make your skin healthier. Having good sleep is also important because the growth hormone is working
during that time. It renews the old cells of your body, including the skin cells. Get enough good sleep and your skin will look fresh and younger.

Make your mission in life stronger than your “mood”.

Undisciplined people are a slave to their emotions. If they don't "feel" like exercising, eating right, reading the Word, then they won't.

Reap the benefits of a disciplined life by doing what you know will get you to your health goals.

What you choose to do (or not do) today will impact your tomorrow. 💕
