What is a Toddler Time class?
It's a way for your Little to learn, socialize, and grow in a space that is curated just for them!

Our Toddler Time classes focus on the pillars of the child brain, Arts & Crafts, Music Time, Story Time, and Independent/Imaginative Play!
We provide a safe space for your child to be themselves and learn through tactile experiences.

Have you been interested in starting your journey to become a Licensed Midwife?
Are you contemplating helping bringing life into the world?

We are looking to add 2 students to our team!

Basic requirements:
1) You should have some knowledge of the NARM PEP or MEAC processes.
2) Either be enrolled in a midwifery school, or ready to start.
3) Have your Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certifications within 3 months.
4) Live within 30 minutes of the birth center.
Clinic is Monday and Thursday.

We have a mandatory team meeting and skills practice every month.

You will need to be available for births when called.

Happy Wisdom Wednesday from The Tyler Birth House!
We are this close to the weekend, what do you have planned?

On this Wisdom Wednesday, we want to talk about Warning Signs of pregnancy!
Pregnancy is natural, normal, and full of wonderful experiences.

Pregnancy can also be nerve wracking, so let us give you a concise list of warning signs that you can look to!

Heavy, Period-like bleeding.
If you are bleeding in great quantity or heavily, please call your Midwife and seek medical attention.

Excessively swollen hands, feet, or face.
Everyone gets a LITTLE swollen when carrying new life, but if your hands, feet, or face become excessively swollen, if you have difficulty feeling or operating them, head to the medical professionals.

Changed or blurry vision.
You should not have difficulty seeing through the course of your pregnancy, if this occurs, consult a medical professional.

Reduced fetal movement.
Later into your pregnancy, baby will have less room to move. However, if you notice a significant difference in movement, please call your Midwife or medical provider.

The Tyler Birth House has knowledgeable, trained, and educated Midwives as well as Family Nurse Practitioner available, and we are here to help!

For the first 2 Months of baby's life, they will be seen and taken care of by our Head Midwife and Owner, Heather Carmody, LM.
She will be there to make sure that Baby is growing correctly and hitting the necessary milestones!

After 2 Months, Baby meets our IN-CLINIC Family Nurse Practitioner, Victoria Obianwu. She will be there to make sure that Baby grows into a healthy Toddler, and a healthy Kiddo after that.
We are with you AND your family for far longer than just 9 months.
Honestly, we're kind of your new bffs.
