Challenge your core and flexibility by practicing our yoga post of the month - Side Plank with a Lifted Leg Variation.
Here’s how to do it:
1. Start in a side plank.
2. Engage your core muscles to maintain a straight line from your head to your feet.
3. Lift your top leg off the ground. Hold and breathe.
4. Hold the pose for as long as you can, breathing deeply and maintaining proper form.

We know you’ve been practicing our Yoga pose of the month. And it isn't that hard, right?
Standing Hand-to-Big-Toe Pose (also known as Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana) is a balancing yoga posture that strengthens the legs and improves flexibility.
Here are our 3 Tips in practicing the pose:
1. Prioritize stability and alignment over full extension.
2. If reaching the big toe is challenging, use a strap or belt.
3. Focus on balance and alignment during the pose.
Remember, falling out of postures is part of the practice. Be kind to yourself and enjoy the journey!

1. Listen to your body – You can start slow and don’t push yourself too hard. It's okay to take breaks. Your body is your guide.
2. Focus on breath – Breathing deeply and consciously is essential in yoga
3. Listen to your teacher – Look out for cues to help you get into the pose, safely and within alignment of the body.
4. Be patient - Yoga is a journey, not a destination. Progress takes time.
5. Consistency - Consistent practice, even once a week, can make a difference.

It's the time of the month again to set new goals and introduce a new pose!
Standing Hand-to-Big-Toe Pose also known as Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana.
This pose will be your go-to for building strength, balance and flexibility as it helps stretch inner thigh and groin muscles while strengthening your core and back muscles.
How to get to the pose:
1. Stand tall in Mountain Pose.
2. Lift one knee toward your chest, while standing leg stays strong
3. Hold your big toe or use a strap.
4. Bring head to your knee (optional)
5. You can also guide your leg to the same side (optional)
6. Breathe and find that drushti (the focal point) to find your gentle focus.
