🎉Congratulations to Tulare County Superior Court staff member, Deanna Jasso, on being selected by the Tulare County Bar Association to receive the Liberty Bell Award.🎉 This award goes to a non-lawyer candidate who promotes a better understanding of the rule of law, encourages greater respect for law and the Courts, and stimulates a sense of civic responsibility to the community.

Deanna has been with the Courts since 2003 and currently serves as our Director of Court Administration. She is responsible for starting a stenography program called “Project Steno” at Granite Hills High School in Porterville, CA, the second high school in the country to be offered the program, and regularly arranges for students to visit the courthouses to learn about careers in the field of justice.

In addition, Deanna serves as advisory board chair for the Visalia Unified School District’s Law & Justice Academy and serves as a board member for the Law, Justice, & Ethics Academy at Granite Hills High school in Porterville, CA.

Deanna is a pillar in our community and we are so honored to have her on our team!
