Please prepare an audition consisting of two 1 minute contrasting monologues & 32 bars of a song from the show. Bring a headshot and resume. If you are not local please submit your audition materials to [email protected]

JET Creates an Arizona Production of 'The Diary of Anne Frank' — Detroit Jewish News Bringing and mounting a new production of The Diary of Anne Frank from Michigan to Arizona in the middle of a pandemic has been a labor of love of epic proportions to say the very least.

Last week we closed our 29th year of The Diary of Anne Frank in Detroit! We got to perform for middle school aged children from all over the Detroit Metropolitan area and share this important and earnest story. Thank you for your support as always 📚

We are in our second week of shows! The Diary of Anne Frank in Scottsdale is sending a message of love, acceptance, and family to young teens in Arizona.

The Diary of Anne Frank is now open at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts! We are so excited to present these important and educational performances to Elementary and Junior High school students once again. “In spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart..."

In light of current medical concerns in southeastern Michigan and adherence to EQUITY (the union for stage managers and actors) Covid protocols, JET has regrettably chosen to postpone its first show of the indoor season, The Rocky Horror Show, and move it to October of 2022.

The indoor season will open with Same Time Next Year on November 4th, followed by The Full Monty on December 9th, 2021. On March 17th, 2022 the season will continue with Amadeus, which will be followed by the final show of the season to be announced at a later date, opening on April 21st, 2022 and running through May 15th, 2022.

All ticket holders of The Rocky Horror Show will have their tickets honored for the TBA show in April. We apologize for the inconvenience, but feel that we must make this decision out of an abundance of concern for our patrons, actors, crew and staff.

Tomorrow by 8 pm is the deadline for video submissions for Rocky Horror auditions at JET! In-person non-union auditions are at the theatre from 1 - 8 pm. Call 248-788-2900 to reserve. Walk ins are accepted but you will have to wait. Click below for details!

The Jewish Ensemble Theatre mourns the passing and celebrates the life and artistry of its founding Artistic Director, Evelyn Orbach. Evelyn's talent, energy, and dedication helped ensure that JET is the longest continuously operating professional Jewish theatre in North America.
