Join us as we Kick Off our Summer Reading Program on Tuesday, June 11 from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Visiting storyteller Ms. Audrey will present: A World of Music & Stories. Featuring stories and musical instruments from around the world including steel drum, kalimba, cuica drum, berimbau, and djembe drum. Bring the whole family to play the inflatable lawn games* brought to us by our friends at Oakland County Parks, have a snack and enjoy some stories as our summer Adventure Begins at the Library.

Our Story
The Walled Lake City Library provides library services to residents of the city of Walled Lake; we also provide services to non-residents with valid library cards from public libraries that are members of The Library Network (TLN), a southeast Michigan library cooperative. We participate in MelCat, a statewide library resource-sharing network.
In addition to our regular collection of books, audiobooks, and DVDs, we offer special programs for families and people of all ages, including computer and Internet classes, our Summer Reading Program, book discussion groups, music programs, and much more. We have 12 computer workstations for public use and a WiFi hotspot for those with laptops and mobile devices.
