Join local Storyteller Judy Sima on a story adventure as she travels around the world sharing stories that help celebrate our similarities with one another. This presentation will include audience participation. Geared for elementary students but fun for the whole family.

Beat the summer heat with an adventure themed, family-friendly movie every Thursday! Join the Walled Lake Library as we show some fun family movies from the past and present.

Feel free to bring snacks (easy to clean up) and we’ll provide drinks. All ages are welcome.

Bubbles! Join us at the Walled Lake Library with Bubbleman Ron Loyd. The Bubbleman has enchanted patrons for years with his bubble magic, creating volcano bubbles, tornado bubbles, kaleidoscope bubbles, square bubbles, and much more. Fun for all ages.

Stop by the library on Saturday, June 29 to create your own adventure by making up your own board game with our friends at Walled Lake’s own Game & Company! We’ll provide supplies, you bring your imagination. Recommend for ages 4 and up.

Join us at the Library as we welcome the Detroit Institute of Arts. We will learn the complex and intriguing story behind Diego Rivera and his Detroit Industry murals, which have now been declared a National Historic Landmark.

Ready for an adventure in your own backyard? Join the Walled Lake Library in welcoming the Oakland County Parks in a 45-minute interactive presentation where you’ll learn about the wildlife and fauna found throughout Oakland Township! This presentation is suitable for all ages and will include exciting bio facts, pelts, and other natural history items to help you better understand all the amazing things that can be found in your own backyard!

Are you ready for this years Summer Reading Challenge? I know we are!

Join us as we Kick Off our Summer Reading Program on Tuesday, June 11 from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Visiting storyteller Ms. Audrey will present: A World of Music & Stories. Featuring stories and musical instruments from around the world including steel drum, kalimba, cuica drum, berimbau, and djembe drum. Bring the whole family to play the inflatable lawn games* brought to us by our friends at Oakland County Parks, have a snack and enjoy some stories as our summer Adventure Begins at the Library.
