Saint Matthew Kids

We are excited to invite you to a special celebration this Sunday at 10am. We warmly encourage all VBS kids and leaders to wear their VBS shirts and join us for this special worship service. Please note that nursery and preschool classrooms will be available for our youngest attendees. However, all elementary-aged children are invited to sit with their families during the worship service. We look forward to seeing you and your family on Sunday for this joyous celebration. Let’s come together in worship and give thanks for a fantastic VBS week!

Yesterday at VBS we learned that Jesus is a good reason to have a party! Next time your family is hanging out together, have everyone answer this question: “What’s your favorite type of party?”

Face off against your friends in Mario Kart on the Nintendo Switch! There will be prizes for first place and runner up. Ages 8-12.

On Sunday our incoming Preschool-6th graders were blessed by our congregation as they officially “UpGraded” to their new classrooms and for our 6th graders, into regular worship. We love celebrating these moments with our church family! ⁠

Hey 5th grade families! 👋 On May 29th, your incoming 6th grader is officially welcome to move up to Saint Matt Youth! They meet every Wednesday from 7:30-9pm in the Teen Center at Saint Matthew for pizza, games, a message, & small groups. Who’s ready for VBS 2024?! 🥳🪩🎉 Start the party with us July 16-19! This year, we’re introducing an exciting change to our VBS program. We’ll be shifting to an evening schedule, making it more convenient for working families. Plus, we’re including dinner as part of the program! We’ll start with a family celebration on Tuesday night, July 16th, at Music on the Lawn, followed by 3 days of VBS fun! Take advantage of our early bird registration discount! This past Sunday, our 4th-5th graders participated in our Bible Milestone instructional class, and will be presented with their own bibles during worship this Sunday, January 28th.

The 4th Grade Bible Milestone provides a public chance for us, as a larger church, to celebrate what the Lord has done for the children of our church through our kids’ ministry in the past 3-4 years. This is not the first time that children will have heard of the Bible. Children already have a foundation built, on which they can now begin building a strong house that will last a lifetime. This milestone class gives us a chance to celebrate that foundation, empower parents to guide their children forward as they transition to a new developmental phase (physically and spiritually), and thank God for His goodness.
