We are a DC-based brand creative agency that helps industry-leading companies and organizations create, refresh and maintain their brands.
Ivymount approached us with an exciting project: a rebrand to commemorate their nearly 60 years of developing innovative programs to help learners reach their fullest potential. As a school focusing on education and therapeutic services for neurodiverse students, we aimed to create designs that reflected their mission and connected with their audience.
Our research focused on designing for accessibility, particularly for individuals on the autism spectrum. This led to tailored designs featuring clean fonts, a lively color palette, and engaging graphics.
The result? A fresh new brand that honors Ivymount's legacy while feeling modern and inviting. This revamped identity not only celebrates their commitment to education and support but also sets them up for a bright future, highlighting their dedication to evolving and meeting the needs of neurodiverse learners for years to come.

Join us as we come together under the cherry blossoms to kick off spring in style!
Fathom partnered with the U.S. Small Business Administration to make their Agency Financial Report more engaging and reader-friendly. Together, we transformed dense financial data into an accessible story that highlights SBA's impact. Thoughtful design choices help readers easily comprehend complex info—from financial statements to data visualizations.
A key recommendation was using a multiplexed font for financial tables. In multiplexed fonts, each number and symbol is the same width, regardless of font weight. This maximizes the distinction between similar figures—perfect for financial data.
The result is an expertly-crafted, approachable report that connects readers to SBA's financial position and their meaningful support of small businesses nationwide.
When BioCarbon Fund tapped us to design their 2023 annual report, we knew strategic visuals would showcase their emissions-reduction efforts. We handpicked photos highlighting those impacted—Colombian coffee growers to Indonesian farmers. Vibrant full-bleed images bled across pages, enveloping readers in fertile forests and thriving communities. An earthy palette of deep greens and azure blues reinforced the environmental initiatives, while generous white space and clean sans-serif type amplified the beautiful photography and enhanced scannability.
Every design decision, from color palette to typography to photo bleeds, focused viewers on people empowered and landscapes preserved through sustainable programs. This visually compelling and intentional design earned raves for marrying function and aesthetics while spotlighting those uplifted. The report also marked the signing of the organization’s first ERPA signing in Ethiopia, setting the stage for further progress.
When the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development sought our graphic design expertise for their annual International Impact Report, we knew we had to vividly capture the biodiversity sustained by their global programs. Our team curated photos from member countries, embracing the teal hues of nature. Peppered between vibrant images, digestible infographics depicted the tangible impact of 2022 initiatives and beyond.
This year, we pioneered an interactive new format—a clickable panel indexing each section of the report for reader navigation. The reception spoke volumes. IBRD received resounding praise for both the visual storytelling and their commitment to conservation efforts spanning continents. As partners in their mission, we are proud to have brought to life a publication that inspires action. Our collaboration with IBRD on their 2022 report tells an encouraging story of progress and potential when groups work hand-in-hand for communities and ecosystems worldwide.
The World Bank tapped Fathom Creative to modernize its 2023 Forest Carbon Partnership Facility annual report. This vital update details the global coalition's efforts to curb deforestation and reduce emissions. Fathom faced a challenge - transform dense text into an intuitive, screen-friendly digital experience.
In a growing digital age, reports are viewed primarily on-screen. Knowing this, we found ways to restructure the report in a way friendly to online readers. This meant increasing the margins on the page, structuring the layout with a universal header and footer, and thinking of interactive elements throughout the report to name a few.
Out went walls of copy. In came color, breathing room, and forest photography allowing readers to visually traverse regeneration sites. Location tags underscore the partnership's planet-wide impact. Interactive graphics make statistics accessible while keeping readers engaged and scrolling.

We recently had the opportunity to provide branding for the hot new restaurant in Rehoboth Beach, Bodhi Kitchen.
The name, Bodhi, meaning a place of enlightenment is a place to escape and be transported somewhere new. Armed with blueprints and mood boards our team was ready to get to work.
As we jumped we were immediately inspired by one key feature… the moon gate. Not only is it an iconic shape, it is through it the visitors travel to a new world. We also knew we wanted the brand to be bold and high contrast, making a statement in the seaside town of Rehoboth Beach.
While the moon gate is instantly recognizable we also wanted to infuse a bit of personality into the brand. Enter the foo dog. As diners eagerly approach Bodhi Restaurant they are also welcomed by two large foo dogs flanking the iconic door. We knew this was an opportunity to give the restaurant a fierce yet endearing mascot that would be carried throughout the rest of the brand.
Since Bodhi Kitchen has unveiled its moon door, foodies have flocked to enjoy its decadent cuisine and also travel from the beach to a new vacation destination.
Step outside and let nature embrace you! 🌿 Our August mood board is a tribute to the beauty of the natural world. Featuring organic shapes, scenes from American landscapes, and warm colors, this collection is a visual invitation to explore and appreciate the wonders of nature.

Second Block Hospitality approached us to develop a new visual identity and materials for their exciting, new lounge in Rehoboth Beach, The Treehouse Lounge. They created an inviting and casual escape in the beachy town and wanted elevated designs to support their new space. Our brand collateral beautifully compliments the excellent interior design of this unique location, which offers a delightful selection of drinks, small plates, and desserts.
Inspired by nature and the decor in the lounge itself, we incorporated elements from the surrounding environment into the visuals. The mesmerizing patterns of driftwood add captivating movement to the backgrounds, evoking the rhythmic waves of the nearby ocean. The carefully curated color palette exudes a fresh and inviting vibe that perfectly complements the lounge’s ambiance while staying on brand.
Our distinct visual identity system set the SBH team on a clear path for the Lounge to expand and grow for years to come. If you find yourself in Rehoboth Beach be sure to stop in and experience the seamless blend of nature-inspired aesthetics at the Treehouse Lounge.
