⚖️ Black women are killed at a higher rate than any other group of women. We are three times as likely to experience death as a result of domestic violence than other demographics of women.
⚖️ Black women are only *8% of the population*, but 29% of the homicide victims in America, making it one of the leading causes of death for girls and women ages 15 to 35.
⚖️ Statistically, we experience sexual assault and domestic violence at disproportionate rates and have the highest rates of intra-racial (by black men) violence against us than any other group. 60% of those girls are molested by age 18.
⚖️ We are less likely to report or seek help when we are victimized under a "no snitch code" that protect black males. Open displays of violence are aimed at those who do not stay silent.

We must not be silent.
