“Climate change is a significant and growing national security budget challenge. Business as usual is not a viable or attractive option.” –Vice Admiral Dennis V. McGinn (Ret.)

Rep. Jamie Raskin testified at a Senate Budget Committee hearing this morning about "Big Oil’s Evolving Efforts to Avoid Accountability for Climate Change." He shared findings from a years-long congressional investigation into Big Oil's climate lies and made clear that these polluters are not part of the solution and they continue to fuel the crisis and deceive the public.

"The era of denial and deceit must come to an end,” he said. And we agree. It's time to hold Big Oil accountable. We applaud Rep. Raskin and his colleagues for helping to expose the fossil fuel industry's lies.
