AATE connects and inspires a growing collective of theatre artists, educators, and scholars committed to transforming young people and communities through the theatre arts.
Inquiry was a central component of the Leaders of Color Institute. Ed Theatre alum co-presenter DaMonique Ballou posed "What aspects of creative processes are you displeased with?" and "What does your dream collaboration look like?"
In the final reflection, a participant wondered, "What is freedom?", "Who is your audience? What are their given circumstances?" and "What is community? How do you build it?"

"I am taking away the power of gathering as global majority members; new tools for creating content to support big ideas in theatre with young people; new ideas about feedback and its powerful potential; new connections to theatre organizations that are doing work that resonates with me; and gratitude!"
