Tuesday Evening we hosted over 140 members of FNF North America's network to reflect on the last 30 years of our work, the current state of transatlantic dialogue, and an outlook for our work going forward.

The event also marked the end of Claus Gramckow’s tenure who has served as the Head of FNF North America’s Regional Office for 19 years. We wish him all the best for his retirement.

We would like to take the opportunity now to welcome our new head, former State secretary and political advisor, Martin Biesel. We look forward to his involvement and leadership!

This week the World Order and Globalization Hub kicked off its third trip of the year.
Participants from around the world will be meeting with experts on trade issues and exchange knowledge in order to gain a deeper understanding of different
perspectives on how to best facilitate and support free trade. We are looking forward to fostering this dialogue with partners in DC and Houston!

Today the World Order and Globalization Hub kicked off its second trip of the year.
This time around participants will be meeting with experts on investigating and combating corruption with the goal of global knowledge transfer and gaining new perspectives on this critical topic. We are looking forward to fruitful conversations in DC and Cleveland!

We are excited to introduce our intern Fabienne Buck from Germany. She will be assisting our team in organizing upcoming study tours, administration, and social media communications this and next Month. Welcome on board!

Today we commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and remind ourselves how truly fundamental personal freedom is. Let us continue to fight for our right to be free individuals and ensure that freedom is inalienable and ubiquitous.

Yesterday we kicked off our annual political professionals study trip to Germany. We are excited to facilitate knowledge transfer between our American and Canadian participants and our network in Munich and Berlin. Stay tuned for updates about our trip!

Despite being specifically aimed at gay liberation, the stonewall riots are a cornerstone event in the fight for not only gay rights but LGBTQ+ rights as a whole in the USA, without which pride month may never have been established. We stand by those who have and continue to fight for equal human rights and are a proud ally of the LGBTQ+ community!

Today we celebrate the 65th anniversary of FNF!

Yesterday we started our study trip for participants of our World Order and Globalization Hub. This trip focuses on renewable energies. The participants have the opportunity to speak with different political professionals in both DC and later in the week in Seattle. We are proud to have invited experts in this field to participate and facilitate knowledge transfer about such an important topic.

Today we kicked off our Hackathon, a part of a series being done at all regional offices of the FNF. We invited four American and four German students and recent graduates to come up with proposals to the question: “How can Europe be made more visible in the US?”. The winning team (each team consists of a German and an American) will be invited to present their proposal at our Reshape Europe conference in Berlin in October. We are excited to hear everyone’s proposals on Wednesday!

Over the past thirty years, the use of sanctions has risen drastically, with increasingly diminishing returns. As the threats posed by the rise of global authoritarianism increase, improving the efficiency of sanctions is crucial to combatting this trend.

This morning we kicked off our annual Transatlantic Dialogue Alumni Conference. It is an honor to be here in Florida with such a big group of experts from both sides of the Atlantic, who are eager to share their insights and learn from one another. We look forward to the upcoming sessions and resulting knowledge transfers!

We are proud to be here in Atlanta with all of our talented, knowledgeable and passionate participants, who have provided such valuable insights due to their breadth of expertise and willingness to engage. It’s a pleasure to get to work with and learn from everyone who has joined us at this conference!

This morning we kicked off our annual Alumni Conference for the Globalization and World Order Hub in Atlanta, Georgia. We are fortunate to have participants who have come from around the world to join and offer their expertise. We look forward to today’s panel discussion on “The Future of Free Trade amid Rising Tides of Protectionism” (Stay tuned for updates in our stories!)

It was a pleasure to meet with Lieutenant Governor Adam Gregg from Iowa and Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser from Louisiana, among others!
